You're more obsessed with me than Glenn Close was with Michael Douglass in Fatal Attraction. First step - admit you have a problem. Second - get help!

Lol...only problem I have is I'm likely going to get banned for speaking my mind. The fact is you're a complete joke of a poster, whose only contribution to the board is consistently dropping gems like "Watch out insert sports league, insert player/team is going to lock this s*** down for the next decade". If you really want to help me, stop posting these ridiculous comments and making yourself look like a total fool.

This could bode well for Kenny Williams if he is still looking to be a President/CEO somewhere.

MLB announces it will retain leadership search firm Korn Ferry to support candidates in interview preparation for baseball operations jobs.

The release states, “At the direction of MLB, Korn Ferry will give special emphasis to the preparation of minority and female candidates.”

Minority hiring will draw particular scrutiny this off-season with several GM positions and a number of managing jobs expected to open.

I've seen enough. The Blue Jays are the best team in baseball and the Mets have the best starting staff I've ever seen.

Barring an all-time run to propel the Sox into the playoffs, this is the World Series I want to see.

Weren't the Nats the greatest collection of young talent ever put together, and they would dominate the game 18 months ago? What happened?

Well, what happened is they really pissed off the baseball gods...

Good thing they rested Strasburg during the 2012 playoffs.

...with this move.

Aw hell, someone said it, now the NL is a lock for the WS win again.

Winning the WS does not make the NL better, nor does winning the all-star game.

Other than Boston, the other three worst teams (Oakland, Seattle, Cleveland) in the AL have a Cy young candidate that they can run out there on occasion and have talent.

The Rockies staff is horrible, the Brewers suck, the Reds suck, the Marlins until Fernandez and Stanton get back to 100% suck , Arizona, Philly and Atlanta suck.

The Cardinals are the toast of baseball and they are nothing all that specail.

The talent disparity between the AL and NL right now is massive and the cub will benefit greatly from this.

CORRECTION: Luxury tax on a Dodgers $300M payroll would be record $45 million.

Sad thing anywhere from 60% to 80% of the LA area can't see the games (even if they wanted to). Pretty pathetic that basically for 2 full seasons, vast majority of the marketplace has been shut out. How about take some of that money and instead use it to sweeten the pot and get DirecTV to come on board. Nothing will change without DirectTV getting on board (or I suppose Dish). But none of them have the incentive to do anything right now and only leverage you really have is if you live in a market where TWC exists.
