So we're going to have one example to hold onto....the wildly-improbable "Winning Ugly" season. 7 games behind in the standings at 25-30 on June 10th. Went on a 21-12 streak to get to 46-42 and first place on July 18th. Finished 99-63 (same as 2005), on a 53-21 stretch, or, to extend it even further, 74-33.
