Seeing as they are talking about an innings limit this year, that means they know he will be starting at some point this year, otherwise there is no point in talking about it. Honestly, if the Sox brass thinks Erik Johnson is back to his 2013 form, then I see the Sox having an incredibly short leash with Noesi. They just don't want to waste them early in the year. If they did it now they would need to shut him down in August and his off season break would be too long. The bullpen, for now, is the right way.
