flavum Posted May 2, 2015 Author Share Posted May 2, 2015 I'll just pile on here...the Rodon in the pen thing has been a disaster. 1) He's not ready for the big leagues 2) He's not a reliever 3) He's not ready for the big leagues Send him down. Poor baserunning bad approaches at the plate mental mistakes fielding (too numerous to mention but throwing to the wrong base has happened at least twice) pitchers not backing up sloppy baseball all around (physical mistakes) But hey, players gotta play right? If coop is telling RV to use Rodon like this he can find another org to work with. I feel like the guy started to believe his own hype a few years ago. I honestly don't think he's that great of a pitching coach anymore. His one claim to fame is health and who gives a s*** about health if guys aren't ready to start the season.
