So this really is rather amazing. We have a foreign intelligence industry successfully intervening in a U.S. Election on behalf of one candidate with the tacit approval of that candidate and other top level officials in his party, including one whose wife is now a cabinet level nominee.

At this point, the United States system does not have any way to deal with this. if someone successfully intervenes in the U.S. election using foreign resources, a faulty election still stands because there's no mechanism by which we could do anything about the intervention.

It is at least partially on the media for how they covered it, exhibit a

Yeah, demotivated those with Clinton Fatigue and on the fence...equally motivated Trump supporters/GOP base.

That said, she gave up completely on talking about policy. She could never articulate why either free trade benefitted flyover territory or what the Democrats were going to do to actually help those middle and lower middle class blue collars who've been displaced the last 20-30 years.

If you look at some recent articles, at least 25% of Dems are convinced for the moment (largely due to the "Carrier win") that Trump actually will help American workers, or at least fight for them.

It has been written 100 different ways, but this "Springsteen Paradox" makes about as much sense as anything

Perhaps the most amazing revelation in the Post’s report is, “Some of the Republicans in the briefing also seemed opposed to the idea of going public with such explosive allegations in the final stages of an election.” Almost immediately afterward, Republicans in Congress trumpeted explosive (but ultimately empty) allegations from a different agency. Of the many causes of the election outcome, one was simply that Trump’s supporters in government were willing to put the system at risk in order to win, and Clinton’s supporters were not.

Seriously, f*** these traitors.

Estate tax, it gone.

The part that really rankles is the GOP sales job. Only 3% of the examples studied in a recent year effect family farms or caused small businesses to be split up. You'd think it was closer to 50% listening to the debates over the last two decades. And this is only 2/10ths of 1% of the richest estates in America with over $5.45-10.9 million (single/couple) in assets.

In 1999/2000, the bottom was around $675-725,000. Small wonder that Clinton was balancing the budget then...but also capital gains at 20%

Those are next to go. Fiscal responsibility...who cares anymore, right?

NYT normalizing neo-Nazis for some reason.

Yeah, no. Neo-Nazi groups have been hiding the swastikas for half a century. pic.twitter.com/4jqhMfleAs

The soft focus image and caption that accompany this piece is utterly shameful. This individual is calling for a genocide. pic.twitter.com/dR6vqlXmvH

His heroes are Goebbels & Hitler. Have @nytimes ever wondered how this "white ethno-state" will be achieved? Just WTAF are you doing?

Action: Lead a Neo-Nazi group. Call for the extermination of Jewish people.

And twitter restored Richard Spencer's account, so we're giving literal neo-Nazis more and more of a platform right as a man who ran on white nationalism comes into office with a white nationalist as his chief policy adviser.

Not exterminate terrorists....exterminate Muslims. WTF

Former U.S. Rep. Allen West, a conservative who posted a meme on Facebook on Saturday about Drumpf picking a cabinet member who will “exterminate” Muslims, is at Drumpf Tower on Monday to possibly meet with the president-elect.

The post on West’s official Facebook said that Donald Drumpf wants Gen. James “Mad Dog” Mattis to serve as defense secretary because he will “exterminate Muslims.” West’s page has more than 2.5 million followers.

To be fair, the EIC of West's website said that the meme was posted without their knowledge.

Now, who knows if you believe them, but worth noting.

A guide to the billions of dollars trump and his companies owe, much of it to foreign entities.

http://m.motherjones.com/politics/2016/12/...nald-trump-debt

And of course trump has postponed his press conference where he was supposed to discuss how his many, many conflicts of interest would be resolved until after the electoral college meets.

One wonders if one of the Chinese "concessions" in theoretical future trade negotiations will be Bank of China forgiving a $650 million property loan?

Is he really that brazen?

If he gets it in his head he can cost companies millions or billion in market value with a 140 character tweet, god knows what else is possible when he actually is president.

Random people on Twitter are saying that Trump made this statement on TV before he tweeted it. Not sure if that's true or not.

He did, but his statements were last Friday.

I saw one person yesterday with an attempted debunk of this using a page with different timestamps so it might well be a timestamp issue, just not sure exactly how the timestamp on one is more trustworthy than another, but that would make sense.
