Kasich will stay in and earn enough delegates to prevent either of the other two from earning a majority. The problem then becomes how to convince Trump that him backing Kasich is better than Kasich/Cruz aligning together, because if Trump has 40-48% of the delegates and Kasich and Cruz make any sort of deal without him, you'll lose enough Trump voters in November that it will be impossible to win.
