Thank god they lost. I can't believe people were entertaining bringing him back because they beat a bunch of mediocre teams.

Something ironic about him likely losing his job after the TV replay given how his career started

Yeah, I was conservative in my Groce criticism, but I'm ready to move on.

There's plenty of talent on this squad, but they look poorly coached.

College basketball has a dunk contest during the Final four and the last spot is done by fan voting. A guy from my alma mater (SEMO) is in the semi finals. If you could go to darkhorsedunker.com and vote for Antonius Cleveland that would be awesome! You can vote once per day per device.

Only a few hours left to go and Cleveland is down by .15%. Please send a vote his way this morning! Thanks!

Woj report:

Sounds like they will be big spenders

Whitman set quite a precedent with Lovie Smith. Might as well spend the money and get it right the first time. I would think Cuonzo Martin, maybe.

As far as off the grid candidates, I'd take a flyer on Becky Hammon.

So the ink is barely dry, and they are already being turned down.

Yeah, when you shoot for an NBA guy, that's what happens. You get turned down. If you don't get turned down, you're not aiming high enough.

Get over this Illinois "woe is me" narrative. It's nauseating.
