  1. QUOTE (Deadpool @ Oct 10, 2016 -> 09:22 PM) Oh, look...the most brilliant man on the "internet" has arrived! For some reason, I imagine you looking something like this:
  2. QUOTE (Deadpool @ Oct 8, 2016 -> 10:25 PM) That's like an octoburn. Get it? Anyway, that fastball is just nuts The genius of the internet has spoken!
  3. QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Aug 14, 2016 -> 04:54 AM) http://chicago.suntimes.com/sports/ventura...as-to-be-asked/ No....No....No...NNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  4. QUOTE (whitesoxjr27 @ Aug 12, 2016 -> 09:35 AM) Who do you guys think will be the biggest thorn in the cubs side this playoff season? I am thinking Giants. I think any of the playoff teams could be thorn in the side of the Cubs. There are some strong teams. Giants, Washington, Dodgers (if Kershaw can come back), Cardinals, Mets. The playoffs are a crapshoot and any of these teams could beat them. I think it is far from a "sure" thing, but obviously they have as good of a chance as anyone. Additionally, they have a team that strikes out a lot against top notch pitchers, plus the weather will be quite a bit colder.
  5. QUOTE (soxfan2014 @ Aug 11, 2016 -> 11:18 PM) Me too. This has become the most unintetest I've ever been in our team. It may coincide with the fact I graduated college in the winter and have been working my first real jobs since and all those other kind of big life changes however. Well, congrats on your accomplishments (graduating and getting a job). I am sure that plays a role, but in no way, shape, or form does it take away the fact that the White Sox organization is a huge pile of horse dung and has taken a toll on a lot of fans
  6. QUOTE (soxfan2014 @ Aug 11, 2016 -> 11:13 PM) No I'm kind of there with you. I'm talking about The Sox fans that try to talk s*** about the Cubs even though we don't really have anything right now to talk about. You got that right, we absolutely have nothing to talk about For the first time in my life, I have COMPLETELY had it with the White Sox organization. I fall for their crap every offseason, and I am disappointed in their performance during the season. The constant basement bargain hunting, the horrible trades, the crappy offense, the horrible bullpen, big mouth Cooper, no personality Ventura, Kenny the one hit wonder...it has just gotten old. Thank you for 2005, but get the hell out of here.
  7. QUOTE (soxfan2014 @ Aug 11, 2016 -> 11:05 PM) It is kind of annoying that it seems like a lot of Sox fans care more about how the Cubs are doing than the Sox are doing. I see it first hand everywhere. It's embarassing. Saying we won a world series in 05 is so cringe worthy. f***ing 11 years ago. Yeah, it is annoying. But, the White Sox are horrible. Their whole organization is a complete s$#t show top to bottom. A lot of my White Sox friends, as well as I, just find the Cubs more interesting. The White Sox are very boring, and with our FO continually making the same mistakes and "talking" like a broken record, the White Sox are far from enjoyable entertainment. The Cubs on the other hand, are enjoyable to watch. 11 years ago Kenny and the rest of those clowns caught lightning in a bottle. The White Sox are in a whole lot of trouble in this town.
  8. QUOTE (fathom @ Aug 11, 2016 -> 11:03 PM) Umps just handed Cubs a win. Terrible call by the umpire Pretty amazing...should be an interesting October for them.
  9. QUOTE (fathom @ Aug 3, 2016 -> 04:42 PM) Nice collapse by AJ Ramos today. That is 2 wins in the past 4 days occurring from a wild pitch playing a HUGE part in the game (on Sunday tying the game and today winning the game). Unreal, good for them. I am not a Cubs fan, I don't like their organization and I don't like their fans. Their team always was, undoubtedly, going to the playoffs. However, I hope they are one and done when they get there. These types of stupid wins usually don't happen in the playoffs. Wild pitches tying the game, wild pitches winning the game, winning what seems like every challenge....ridiculous.
  10. I am starting to wonder if I will ever again see a formidable White Sox offense in my lifetime. Or, will they always suck going forward?
  11. QUOTE (elrockinMT @ Jul 28, 2016 -> 10:01 PM) Listen it ain't over till it's over. We go 2-2 with the NLs best team and that's not bad I agree with the 2-2 against the Cubs part, buddy. I got greedy and was hoping for 3 wins. But, getting to watch their team these past four games...an "average" offense would have been able to take all 4 games from them. They are definitely beatable. However, it really is over for us, man. This team needs a completely new direction. This offense is pitiful.
  12. QUOTE (fathom @ Jul 28, 2016 -> 09:51 PM) Actually a nice at bat by Abreu Yep, unfortunately right at Russel.
  13. QUOTE (greg775 @ Jul 28, 2016 -> 09:48 PM) Well, what do ya think? Two strikeouts in the ninth or three? First two guys whiff then Shuck maybe grounds out? Abreu HBP, Frazier 2-run HR...LOL
  14. QUOTE (greg775 @ Jul 28, 2016 -> 09:47 PM) Pathetic offense in Wrigley: two runs in two games? Pretty embarrassing during the heat of the summer in a small ballpark. Our sluggers should be ashamed. They really suck. This offense is sickening and has been for a long time. Of course, Lackey has sucked for a month, but we made him look brilliant. What new.
  15. QUOTE (TheTruth05 @ Jul 28, 2016 -> 08:06 PM) Second straight night cubs pitchers have the outside of the plate that Sox pitchers don't.bring on the roboumps That called strike to Abreu was ridiculous.
