Dodgers kicking Tires on Q

Needs a separate thread (vs. being burried in existing massive catch-all thread). Dodgers clearly have a lot of potential prospects and even some major league pieces they could offer (you'd have to assume that the starting price tag would be Urias plus one of their young, but streaky outfielders, along with at least one frontline prospect.

I'm not sure who I would want to move. Sale has less control left, but is a better pitcher than Q.

Move Q, Sale gave the Sox a massive discount cause he wants to play here. Sale probably would do the same when he becomes a free agent.

Not a chance. He gave us a discount and we rewarded him with a terrible lineup and minimal run support. He's gone when his contract is up.

Yep, and he's been an amazing member of the Sox in terms of not complaining about the talent around him and/or demanding a trade.

The Dodgers are light on position player prospects, so they might have to get in a third team.

I could see them giving up Pederson as a part of a Q trade.

Sale gave a big discount because he wanted guaranteed money in case his arm fell off tomorrow, not because he liked the Sox. Same with Q for that matter.

And a not amazing member in terms of publicly calling for the ouster of the team's VP

Quintana: "I know this is the time for trades but we try not to pay attention to that." Said he hopes to stay with #WhiteSox

Part of me wants to see Sale and Q not leave and retire with this team

So I won't be mad if they stay, even though trading at least one is the smart move

Do you expect them to retire in 2019 and 2020? They won't be here beyond those years most likely.

Benintendi has played 144 pro games--

35 doubles, 15 triples, 18 homers, 25 sb, .916 OPS

Get me that guy. Ball player.

I'd be psyched if he was part of any package, he's going to be a beast

This. Does anyone honestly think Jerry's gonna give Sale $35 million a year? If he keeps pitching the way he has, he's going to get that easy.
