  1. Absolutely. That and as @southsider2k5 says we need depth in the system. Sox need to be hitting on some international signings and late round draft picks once and awhile, don't need to be finding stars but just a decent regular once a year that eventually plays in Chicago, from all sources, would be a solid foundation.
  2. Even if you take this one guy's report at face value, we're still probably 30/30 in MLB talent. And as we've seen even having several top 50 type prospects and a top farm system is no guarantee of any success in Chicago at the MLB level. So while our farm is certainly improved it's just one of many necessary but not sufficient things that needs to happen before we field the next good Sox team.
  3. Michigan got the corrupt, morally bankrupt NCAA's notice of punishment for Jim Harbaugh buying a couple hamburgers (in the NIL era, lol) and then telling the corrupt, morally bankrupt NCAA to f*** off.
  4. Good win for them last night. Our former buddy Frankie Montas walked the world and the Mariners shockingly were able to make him pay. Mitch Haniger has been great for them so far. Cal Raleigh, Julio and Crawford continue to struggle. Julio had some decent ABs last night so maybe he's pulling out of it. Crawford and Raleigh I think are average starters who had career years last season. In general, nothing has really changed with my opinion of their squad. They will struggle to remain around .500 unless Julio is like an 8 WAR player, and I just don't see it.
  5. Beni and Vaughn have combined for -1.1 fWAR. This is our 3rd overall pick and biggest contract in franchise history. LOL sell the team.
  6. Chuck's paycheck depends on a certain tone whereas AJ's does not I'd imagine.
  7. this one took me a minute but then i got it.
  8. The 1960 Mets were shutout 30 times. The 1908 Cardinals were shutout 36 times, in the 154 game season. The White Sox are on pace to get shutout 60 times.
  9. He might be good people, but he's a horse s%*# ball player.
  10. hahahahahahahahah, f*** this team. own it.
