Something else to think about. This promotion was also about honoring players like Steve Stone, Harold Baines, Britt Burns, Chet Lemon, Carlton Fisk, Lamar Hoyt, manager Tony LaRussa. Ed Farmer. All wore these uniforms. Chris Sale 100% at fault for his actions. I also take the view that Robin is at fault for creating an environment that allowed Sale to do this. Robin is the worst manager I can remember. Worse than Bevington.

I was really looking forward to seeing the old uniforms. Does anyone know if they were planning to wear the white pants or blue pants with those jerseys? Either way it would have been cool. Kinda partial to the all blue but those were the road uniforms. Also I really hope this doesn't stop them from wearing the uniforms again. Yeah they are bad but they are the first uniforms I saw the sox wear.
