Gordon Beckham sighting.

Dunning settled down his second inning. Cedeno now in.

Palka had a pretty decent swing, flew out oppo to warning track...former Cub Junior Lake

Basabe has a really strong arm, bobbled it and then gunned down Beckham easily at second after the patented Single to opposite field down the line.

LUIS Robert debuting in CF, just made a play drifting back against the wall in RCF.

Burger overmatched again...slow bat so far.

Robert pulled a one hopper humpback liner hard into deep hole between SS and third, almost beat it out...

Jeanmar Gomez with a pretty successful inning of work. One runner reached, throwing error on SS Jose Rondon.

LuBob made a nice catch in center. First pitch swinging on his first AB and grounds out to short. Looked like it was solidly hit and he almost beat out the throw at first.

No no no on the nickname.

Seems like a brunch special at IHOP, Bob Evans or Cracker Barrel.

Collins will hit next, had rough throw down to second on a steal last inning.

3-2 count, k’s on breaking ball. 2nd/3rd, 2 outs. Elmore had singled to short LCF.

Basabe double to opposite field, 4-3 lead. Wild pitch tied it.

Basabe and Delmonico the picks to click of this one. Gomez with 3 k’s, Santiago did okay, too. Scattered 5 hits in 2 ip, no runs, k.

Burger lashes a high outside FB to RF, ends up with triple on missed dive by fielder. Wheels Burger. Ran out of gas.

Robert overmatched, this guy throws mid to high 90s, former Yankees’ prospect.

Sac fly Rendon, 5-3. Man Burger is huge in lower body, but still moves fairly well.

Elmore with two fairly weak singles, May walk and a single.

Burger running around the bases looking like Bartolo Colon

Was that actually Jake Burger? My god he's enormous. I had no idea he was that big. I'd drop him on a prospect list just for looking like that. Do we have someone else named Burger that could have been? H Christ.

For once thank you for all the names. I could not tell that was Robert as I never saw the name on the jersey.

Better comp is Matt Albers running the bases.

He’s definitely “stout.”

Robert almost misplayed a ball where he ran in, then had to jump to keep it from carrying over him...sun seemed to be bothering him. Basabe definitely looked the best overall. He never gets mentioned anymore, but he’s the natural heir to Adolfo hype train.

I was thinking Matt Adams or Pablo Sandoval. If he's at 3b we need a Sandoval like nickname for him, mercy. I thought he was in better shape than that from the IG clips.

Even more jarring after watching beanpole Tatis hit...or Ohtani pitch (got hit fairly hard, Broxton homer and another double deep to LCF, control issues part of the problem, probably nervous for Big A debut in front of huge crowd.)

So we now have Matt Stairs, Albers, Adams and Sandoval comps. Nowhere to go but up. He’s not Fielder sized, I guess.
