  1. I unfortunately can't comment on the movie too much because I had to leave about 20 min. in due to motion sickness. I handled blair witch just fine but this movie was out of control. A few others left just after me as well.

    About Your Bed

Before I bought a fancy comforter & pillows...never...now everyday. If there's only a basic comforter and the pillows you sleep on then it's silly to go through the effort. Fancy=higher upkeep.
  3. I was very happy with everything that happened in the end. It sounds evil, but I was kind of expecting a REAL main character would die in terms of either Ron or Hermoine or Harry or Ginny. Fred wasn't a huge intregal part of the story. Lupin yes, but I consider the kids to have been more of a focus. Oh well, still worth reading all 7 of them! I can't WAIT for the 7th movie to see the massive battle at Hogwarts though
  4. I think I just threw up in my mouth a little bit
  5. Holy s***..that is soooo hillarious. Seems like something you'd see on 90210
  6. I love them all!! So glad this thread was started...although more seem to be about crazy girls than guys. I'll even the amount and throw in a couple more about my ex: Lie: He told all his new friends that he quit law school after 3 months because he was getting straight A's and was bored with it. Truth: He droped out just before he failed out Lie: He told me he was given a raise at his old job because they loved him so much and didn't want to lose him. He claimed he just lost interest in working there and quit. Truth: He was fired because he was lying about the # of tenants that moved out and when rent wasn't flowing in the company caught on and canned him.
  7. Everyone's had their share of bad break-ups and crazy ex-boyfriends/girlfriends. Need some comic relief here!! Spill your best stories about insane people you've dated that you're almost embarassed to say you did Here's a good short one to start off: My ex is a compulsive liar. He denied the fact that he has a 7 year old daughter for the last 2 years to myself and his now ex-girlfriend....classy...who does that?! He also claims he pays child support, although not likely.

    PS3

QUOTE(Purdue129 @ Nov 14, 2006 -> 07:59 PM) If you don't have a preorder in and you want one on the release day you should probably plan on getting in line in a few hours. The ridiculously small amount of units available in the U.S. this weekend will be gone in a heartbeat. Also, there are some pretty strong rumors going around that Fry's will only be selling the PS3 in a bundle. If you want one you'll also have to buy 8 games. They aren't publicizing it now, but associates had been sharing the info earlier this week. People should definitely plan to move all scheduled therapy sessions aside when it comes to this system. It's a counseling session in itself. Especially if you're single, great way to pass the time.
  9. Why are some people so slow to get these damn tests if there's a quetion of paternity? Then again there are those idiots who get letters from a doctor's office about not being a dad, accept it, and pitch the letter in the trash. Some people are just not smart!
  10. I think you failed to read the part about doing 5 things for someone else...meaning not me Namely 5 things about an EX boyfriend
  11. I'm going to go for a different approach and name things for someone else people don't know: 1. I bragged about law school for years, then quit after 3 months. 2. I have a lazy eye that I get raging mad if people make fun of. 3. My parents split up due to an affair, yet my current girfriend was in a serious relationship when I hooked up with her. 4. I drank a lot at school (go Purdue!) yet I'm Type I diabetic so it clearly wasn't a good idea for me. and #5.... I knocked up my high school girlfriend and didn't find out until 5 years later it's not my kid (yet I still haven't done a paternity test).

    The OC?!

QUOTE(bmags @ Nov 12, 2006 -> 06:38 PM) they are screwed v. Grey's anatomy. I agree...PLUS they're also against CSI. It'd be in their best interest to move nights, assuming that is the espisodes start getting better instead of worse. I just feel so deceived by my morning radio show. Guess that's what happens in Packer-land.

    The OC?!

I heard on the radio the other day the OC was moving to Wednesay..but have NOT seen anything on the Fox site to suggest otherwise. Any rumors out there suggesting the move might be final after the disappointing season opener??
  14. holy s***...that's a lot of sick days. In answer to your question as to why use sick days- Use them or lose them. Basically I have a certain amount that I have to use in a given year BUT that I don't plan on using. I therefore must use some so they're not a total waste.
  15. If you've ever called in "sick" to work, any tactics you'd suggest? Personally, I'd suggest the following: 1. Talk about feeling sick a couple days before the planned day. 2. Set your alarm and then call your boss RIGHT after you wake-up so you sound extra crappy
