  1. Congrats on your much-deserved Championship. Even though many of us did not have power due to Wilma, we listened on the radio, got the battery-powered TVs out, got updates on our cell phones, and rooted on the White Sox. Thankfully they swept the Astros in 4 and put that sorry Houston team out of their misery. Thank you again for your support back during our run in 2003 and now we hope you enjoy your reign as champions.
  2. Thank You and Go beat those Twins They do Spring Training here in Lee County along with the Red Sox and both fan bases need reality checks.
  3. Hello from a Marlins fan living in Florida, I actually sent an email to the team's front office asking they play one game against the Cubs at U.S. Cellular Field, but I guess these 2 games that had to be moved due to Ivan found the best home other than in Florida as per my recommendation. You guys have a beautiful park and don't let anyone tell you otherwise. The Cubs wish they had a park that was modern. I hope that our park starts construction soon (Early 2005) and that we have some pictures to share by the end of the year. I also hope to make a small graphic for my website to commemorate these two games at U.S. Cellular Field. These two games would have made former White Sox and AAA Miami Marlins owner Bill Veeck very happy.
  4. It's worth a try. He isn't a big risk to us.
  5. Our coach can teach him that extra pitch, it will take time, but can be done.
  6. actually, we want koch to change how he pitches. Get rid of trying to blow it past them and use the control. Our pitching coach preaches pitching, not throwing, and Koch can throw strikes. He gets hit, but not homers.
  7. Have you guys seen the Marlins bullpen, to us Koch is a welcomed sight.
  8. I am so glad we got Koch. After our bullpen's meltdowns this season, he is a welcome addition.
