  1. Still quite the opposite. In MLB, be untalented, or undertalented is about the worst possible position. I would rather suffer and accumulate talent, versus suffer and not have anything to show for it.
  2. I think the idea that this "tank" is intentional is laughable. This is a horrible organization for talent, probably the worst in baseball from top to bottom. All of this process is doing is buying time until we can get some talent to Chicago. Right now, this team could have been the biggest spenders in all of baseball in free agency and still not sniffed .500.
  3. As bad as Sheet is in the OF, he's never killed someone else out there...
  4. He already had a season to "prove" himself and he was still essentially unwanted this offseason. Not sure what changes, but if we are going to have him, hopefully we get something for him this time, but I wouldn't count on it.
  5. Taylor had TJS in Feb of 23, so he is just now starting to really pitch. The the first part of this at least is probably a wash for him, but good to see him out ramping up.
  6. Nothing like starting your new job with national attention for being one of the worst teams ever in baseball history.
  7. The evaluation is the easy part. It's the getting players that don't fucking suck which will take a while./
  8. At least someone finally said it out loud, even if many didn't believe it before.

  10. Assuming they don't have the Clevinger baggage, sure.
  11. Yeah, if he is anywhere near a mid rotation type of starter, teams will pay up for him. All you have to do is look at what pitching was sold for at the last deadline.
  12. I always hear complaining about players being generic and speaking in cliches until they actually speak their minds.
