Tropicana Field is not a good spot for a baseball team, but I don't think the Rays should be moving at this point because, as I recall, the Rays have some of the best local TV ratings in the league. The Rays wanted just to explore locations in Tampa and STP is trying to get as much as possible from the Rays. The mayor of STP is in favor of the Rays looking in Tampa. He actually thought he had the votes to allow them to look over the bay. the two sides are still talking and I'm sure there will be another vote this year.
