Now, does he actually believe that, or did you hear this from your best friend's sister's boyfriend's brother's girlfriend, who heard it from this guy who knows this kid who's going with the girl who saw Ferris pass out at 31 Flavors last night? I've seen things like this said about various candidates from various parties throughout the years, and almost never does it turn out that they said or believe anything close to what someone claimed, or they took what was said out of context because it suited them. I'm just amazed the IL GOP couldn't field better (or at least non-psychotic) candidates for that district, which has enough well-off suburbia that it could be a solid pickup opportunity for them. caulfield12 Posted November 4, 2014 Share Posted November 4, 2014 The good thing about this is the GOP will be expected to, like, produce some type of results and IDEAS that aren't from Cantor in the next two years... What will really irritate them is if they blow it (the coming opportunity) so badly it gets another DEM elected president in 2016. I remember 1994 like it was yesterday...but that scale/scope of that was much more unexpected than anything that will possibly go down today election-wise. I said then and still maintain it... the Gov election between Blago and Baar-Topinka was the worst overall pair of options I've ever seen for a high office. I actually voted 3rd party, which I almost never do. I do vote Green Party on the Water Reclamation district every time though. Just seems to make sense.
