The most ironic thing about that statement, is it pretty much encapsulates the White Sox early season success. OK, there's not a 20-game winner on the staff, but you've got 5 guys doing pretty damn good impressions of 20-game winners. GoodAsGould Posted April 25, 2005 Share Posted April 25, 2005 I think the A's are doing pretty good getting rid of 3/5 of their starting rotation, 2 of them being Mulder and Hudson. Haren and Blanton look like future studs to me. This is going to be really tough since we face Harden and Zito but I think we can win one of those guys and than beat the scrub we are facing in game 3 of the series. One of my best friends lives in Oakland and I'll never hear the end of it if they continue their winning ways over the White Sox. Mon: LH Barry Zito (0-3, 6.94) vs. RH Jon Garland (3-0, 2.57); Tue: RH Rich Harden (2-0, 0.44) vs. LH Mark Buehrle (3-1, 2.61); Wed: RH Kirk Saarloos (1-1, 6.30) vs. RH Freddy Garcia (2-1, 3.21).
