In my opinion, the busts we have had and those who will likely be busts.

2008 - Gordon Beckham

2009 - Jared Mitchell, Josh Phegley

2011 = Keenyn Walker

2012- Courtney Hawkins, Keon Barnum

2015- Carson Fulmer

2016- Zack Colllins

2017- Burger

Yes, I have lost hoe that Fulmer and Collins will pan put, and I just can't see Burger as a major league player.

If Carlos Rodon does not come back to pre-injury form, he might join that list.

But just think if we'd just have lost 10 more games we could have gotten somebody so much better than Burger and Rodon and Fulmer. Damn, if we'd just lose more often our great front office would come through.

Exactly, or as one might say, tanks a lot !

Other than the Sale pick the Sox may have had better outcomes by throwing darts blind-folded at a list of first round draft pick options.

For the most part, it's been a rough decade for the White Sox on Draft day.

Rodon was the third pick that slid. He would have been taken regardless.

One or two more losses turns Fulmer into Benintendi.

Burger was a money saver in a draft featuring little top end talent.

Nice troll job, Gregory.

Burger has not even played a single minor league game and he's already a bust?? Wow

Fulmer, Collins and Burger are barely out of college. Be serious.

Fulmer is barely out of college?

53 Minor league games over parts of three seasons with a 4.85 ERA and a 12-17 record.

I don't want to bash these players any more than I have, so I'll let this go.

3 years. In other words in a typical organization he could be pitching somewhere around AA.

I just stumbled across this. You are a troll and serve zero purpose on this message board. Go ahead and suspend if it's warranted.

This is pretty much how it goes for every team's 1st round picks over an 8 year span. If you can say that they had 3 years where their first round wasn't a bust out of 8, then I feel they are legitimately doing pretty well. You have absolutely no perspective put into this, just that these guys are "busts."

Fulmer is the only pitcher in the 2015 draft class to pitch in the majors.
