I do hate the fact ballplayers can't hit for power anymore in most cases, but I'd rather see them flop than get 20 more feet on their fly balls because of pills/gels/liquids. You could argue they helped pitchers more, as a big thing steroids do is help you recover more quickly, which is obviously huge for pitchers. Â However, in lieu of bringing back PEDs, we should just automate the balls and strikes. Way too many "in the dirt" strikes in the MLB. As White Sox fans, we should probably all feel this way, seeing as the 2005 White Sox were the one team in that decade without any real steroid abusers (Maybe just Pablo Ozuna) and Frank Thomas lost out the 2000 MVP to the juicebox edition of Jason Giambi.
