  1. I have questions about the parking situation as well. I have tickets to ALCS home games 2 and 3 and when I try to book parking it has the date of game 2 as October 16th. Couldn't this date change depending on who the Sox face in the ALCS? Do I just ignore this date and book anyway? Thanks!
  2. Scary situation in Cleveland. Carlos Gomez just left on a stretcher after running into the wall.
  3. QUOTE(South Side Fireworks Man @ Jun 22, 2007 -> 06:00 PM) Maybe I'll have to adopt the Brewers as my favorite team for the rest of this season. I have Utley, Rowand, and Victorino on my fantasy team. So they are my national league team for the rest of this year.
  4. QUOTE(Steff @ Jun 19, 2007 -> 01:41 PM) However it's the last day so if he wants to go, it's then or not at all. Like I said, we have a ritual of staying in the city on the 3rd and going to the Taste the morning/early afternoon of the 4th and it's been ok. Don't get me wrong, it is crowded, but it's at least bearable up to around 4ish. Not true. The Taste of Chicago goes on until July 8th. So you have a few days to make it over there, I highly recommend it. But thats easy for me to say, I love crowds. The taste gives you a chance to taste tons of different food, see all different types of people, and enjoy the city as a whole. If I were you I would definitely make time to visit the taste.
  5. QUOTE(SnB @ Apr 24, 2007 -> 07:16 PM) SOMEONE ELSE NOTICED THE M&M JACKET GUY? oh man, i thought he was my own personal myth. Oh i notice him. I laugh every time i see him because he is every where. He is on the same level and "Neon Man" - that guy with the mustache and neon all over his body who is at every major chicago sporting event. He was in Houston when the sox won, he was at the super bowl, and I wouldnt be surprised if he was sitting next to n M&M tonight.
  6. QUOTE(greasywheels121 @ Apr 24, 2007 -> 07:10 PM) What is it? The bulls game. On a similar note, the guy in the M & M jacket is there wearing the jacket courtside! Who is this guy and how to become friends with him?
  7. QUOTE(DrunkBomber @ Apr 9, 2007 -> 10:50 AM) I for one thought Bobby was gonna get killed for sure after that fight. Hearing Tony's rendition of Under the boardwalk was one of the funniest things that show has come up with. Im not sure what yet but you know something is gonna come of Bobby being careless and just dropping the gun after he killed that guy. See when i first saw it, i was more worried about the torn shirt. Bobby had a bit of forshadowing when he was in the boat with Tony and said something like he is afraid to kill someone because of all the DNA testing and whatnot. I am hoping they dont find and DNA on shirt. But i am sure the writers wont go there.
  8. QUOTE(fathom @ Apr 6, 2007 -> 12:44 AM) My biggest issue w/Hawk right now is his "stretch" call. He should be able to judge the trajectory of the ball better than those watching television, but his constant overreacting to any deep fly ball does get annoying. See, this is something I have no problem with. If he doesn't say "stretch" to deep fly balls when should he say it? To ball that are definitely gone? or to lazy pop ups? I dont think so. The whole point of "stretch" is the hope that some how those deep balls stretch a little more. It would be totally different if he constantly was going in to his homerun call on deep fly balls with the whole "That ball hit deep, way back, he looks up...caught" That would get annoying and would be overreacting.
  9. Neal Cotts....and Brian Anderson. I know how to pick em.
  10. QUOTE(Kid Gleason @ Mar 1, 2007 -> 08:10 PM) Wow. That vote for the worst site is pretty dang powerful! Oh yeah...and Pickler still sucks! Pickler always sucked. But did anyone else notice anything about her rack? It seems like she either went through puberty or she got some excellent work done.
  11. QUOTE(Tony82087 @ Dec 23, 2006 -> 10:32 PM) Looks like my Anderson jersey will be out of date....O'well... I was thinking the same thing. Should I change my anderson to a Toby hall or should I change the 44 to a 32?
  12. In Buster Olney's Blog he is hinting that it may be a signing of Joel Pineiro for the bullpen. Which would be nice for a long reliever. http://insider.espn.go.com/espn/blog/index...buster#20061217

    PS3

QUOTE(Yoda @ Nov 14, 2006 -> 08:52 PM) I might buy the X-BOX 360 before I even buy the PS3. That Gears of War game is to die for. You took the words right out of my mouth. GoW and Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter are worth the $400 right there. And the word is that there is going to be a Blu Ray add on to the 360 in the next month or so for $199. So Buy a 360 and wait on the Ps3.

    Kitties

QUOTE(Brian @ Nov 9, 2006 -> 04:27 PM) Those are funny. I don't get the ones that say, "I'm in your ____, ____ your ____" I think that the random sayings add to the obscurity of the whole site. The crazier the better i think. Oh and the cats are cute too.
  15. QUOTE(farmteam @ Oct 27, 2006 -> 03:01 PM) I have (a relatively easy) one for you guys: Two guys are found dead in a cabin on a mountain. There was no sign of foul play, but they didn't die of natural causes either (i.e. it was an untimely death). How'd the die? There's a very good chance I just screwed up the telling of that riddle. it is the cabin of an airplane that had crashed into the mountain.
