  1. They need arms. There are 5 games in a row starting Saturday. They are probably choosing not to use a 5th starter, and will use bullpen games until Nastrini has another year of control. By the way, next Monday’s weather looks terrible vs Braves. They may have to play a doubleheader Tuesday or Wednesday, or there are a couple dates in June they could come back.
  2. Would not be surprised if the Mets, Phillies and Orioles move opening day to Friday. Opening Day games Thursday could start at 3p, including the Sox.

Guessing this is the 26- OD Lineup- Benintendi, Moncada, Robert, Jimenez, Vaughn, DeJong, Pillar, Maldonado, Lopez Bench- Fletcher, Shewmake, Sheets, Lee Rotation- Crochet, Soroka, Fedde, Flexen, (Nastrini) Bullpen- Shaw, Banks, Kopech, Garcia, Leone, Hill, Leasure, Wilson, Brebbia

I hope Lee takes this opportunity and runs with it. With Maldonado and Stassi, nobody should be guaranteed a spot.
  5. They are playing a camp game vs Charlotte tomorrow before flying to Chicago.
  6. Fletcher, Ortega, Remillard K to end spring training games. Now let’s get some roster moves.

No. They usually have a 3pm game on Monday and a 2pm game on Tuesday. I doubt they leave Sunday night. Probably intrasquad/organization games the last couple days, as Fathom mentioned.

Anyone know why they don’t have anything scheduled Monday or Tuesday? B games at least?

Opt-out decisions are due now for Shaw, Leone, Chavez, Keller, Moustakas, and Pillar.
  11. Robert is probably the best defensive outfielder the Sox have ever had.
  12. Yamamoto with a Dodgers debut he’d rather forget. All over the place.
