  1. QUOTE (mr_genius @ Dec 26, 2008 -> 12:59 PM) the scratched disc thing with xbox 360 does suck. i was playing it yesterday and my sister was over and barely moved the console and it went crazy and scratched my madden game rendering it unplayable. I think this is what happened to my Madden game. What are you gonna do? I'm pretty sure you can get the disc resurfaced and it will be fine.
  2. QUOTE (EvilJester99 @ Dec 25, 2008 -> 09:56 PM) My 360 is driving me insane... it keeps telling me that it either the disc is unreadable or it says the disc needs to be cleaned. I restart the 360 then it plays it. I don't know if I should send it in to get it looked at or what...any ideas? Same thing is happening to my Madden 09, except its never working, wtf..
  3. That's the funnest way to play that game, rebuild teams. I opened mine this morning and hooked it up, but it's messed up. I got NCAA Basketball 09 but everything in the menus is like to small, and its all blurry and I can't see it, so I have no idea how to set anything up. I don't have HD, so I've got it set up to the regular tv mode, does anyone have any ideas? Did I get a bad system? A bad game? Please help!!
  4. I bought a 360 for Christmas, but I'm waiting til tomorrow to open it up I'm one of the few people in the country who has never played XBOX360 OR PS3 yet. Never. Never picked up a controller. So I'm pretty psyched.
  5. Colorado State wasn't nice to us either. Alot of people had USF BIG! Hopefully loses tonight.
  6. FWIW, it would cost us a draft pick. He's gonna be looking for some serious cash, but if we moved Jenks, and depending on what we get it return, I could see KW making a run at him
  7. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Nov 13, 2008 -> 04:50 PM) For a 19 year old, I don't care how talented he is...I would expect him to spend at least one, if not 2 full seasons in the minors. If he spends less than that there you consider yourself lucky, but the human body just doesn't develop that fast. That's what I was thinking too, 19 is just to young. But it always makes you think of Miguel Cabrera in 2003. I would prefer him in AAA than to have him start from day 1. I think him and Alexei will be really fun to watch, and potentially open up the Cuban pipeline even more.
  8. Thanks for the reply, I'm actually really excited about this kid. He's essentially a Sox right? There's no other teams that are in the hunt that could take him away from us tommorrow? I don't see how that'd be possible as we just freed all that cap from todays trade. And if(once) we do sign him, do you think he'll be the starting 3B man from day one, or we'll stash him in the minors for a little seasoning?
  9. How close are we to signing this kid? We should have an edge on other teams seeing as he played with Alexei in Cuba, right?
  10. QUOTE (bmags @ Oct 3, 2008 -> 07:13 PM) Just sit down THome and think abotu what you've done. done
  11. QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Oct 3, 2008 -> 07:01 PM) What's with the hatred to Rays fans? Would you respect them more if they stayed home? no, the ones who went to the games when the rays were getting pounded have my respect, the ones who just started showing up a month ago are the jags, acting like they have some kind of loyalty to the team.
  12. QUOTE (rangercal @ Oct 3, 2008 -> 06:59 PM) f*** these bandwagon fans. I love the fact that they have to deal with boston and NYY every year. Go yanks and sawx i know. most of these people probably haven't even heard of the rays before this season, and most of them probably still can't even spell it...
