There was no scandal behind the Susan Rice stuff like Nunes was claiming, though. That's one reason you should be skeptical..

I could link the journalists later if you'd like. It's no less than the people insisting that the memo actually means anything have. Ultimately the memo either contains legitimate information or it doesn't, and we won't know for sure unless the Republicans release it (which they can if they want) and their claims are verified. Given who wrote it and his history, I'm going to remain doubtful. Conversely, what have you seen from Nunes in the past that would give you a reason to treat him as a credible source?

I don't always agree with Greenwald and think he has bad takes sometimes. I posted him because I know you like him. What do you think about his opinion on this?

The R after his name obviously.

Faking an orgasm and beating a lie detector test are not even in the same ballpark.

I find it odd how often you give Trump the benefit of the doubt. Someone who has consistently proven how much full of s*** he is.

Lie detector tests are garbage pseudoscience and that was a decent joke.

CNN poll: DACA not worth a shutdown, except to Democrats

http://www.cnn.com/2018/01/19/politics/cnn...daca/index.html

Not fake news!

Overall, about half of Americans say they would blame either Trump (21%) or his Republican counterparts in Congress (26%) should Congress fail to fund the government by the midnight Friday deadline. About a third, 31%, say they would hold the Democrats in Congress responsible, and another 10% say they'd blame all three groups. Among Republicans, 62% would blame the Democrats in Congress, while 43% of Democrats would blame Republicans on Capitol Hill and 29% would blame Trump.

Still, 56% overall say approving a budget agreement to avoid a shutdown is more important than continuing the DACA program, while just 34% choose DACA over a shutdown. Democrats break narrowly in favor of DACA -- 49% say it's more important vs. 42% who say avoiding a shutdown is the priority -- while majorities of both Republicans (75%) and independents (57%) say avoiding a shutdown is more important.

I was wondering if this current period of time because of Trump is closest we've been to a completely divided country, almost to where there would be another Civil War. Trump is so despised by a segment. Yet there are those who voted for him who are very aggressive and they constitute a sizeable amount of people. Add to that all the unrest over the cops killing people of color and the white supremists vs. BLM and you have a truly divided land.

If America wants to be divided it has succeeded. Perhaps the most divided ever except in time of official Civil War? that will be Trump's legacy. A split very angry country.

lol...where the hell were you people from 2008 to 2016 with the Divider in Chief in charge? Barry did more to completely divide this country and stir up racial divide than anybody I've seen in my lifetime...but it all depends on what side of the fence you're on huh? I realize most on this board kissed his ass at every turn...they saw absolutely nothing he did as bad. That's your home boy from Chicago...I get it. It's why I usually never get involved in these type of threads/forums. Barry was just as despised...and by just as large a segment. There's more people in the country than just Chicago...NYC...and Califoria. What people don't seem to get...why Donny was elected isn't because of the D or R next to their name...it's because he's really neither...people are sick of both. Neither said gives a tinkers damn about you...or your family or well being. If you honestly think Democrats do...you're incredibly naive. It's all about "what can you do to get yourself re-elected". How/why do you think the spend so much money to take a meager salary...only to leave (if they ever do) as multi-millionaires?

Newsflash...country has been split for quite some time. It's idiotic to blame it on Trump...but I'm sure the MSM will do it's best to "tone it down". lol.... Keep the masses at each other's throats....it's how people stay in control/power. This country isn't smart enough to figure that out yet....

Yeah, I'm guessing it'll be "fake news" to you, but approval ratings polls have told us a completely different narrative.

But, by all means, carry on believing as you do, if that's what you want.

You are clearly not familiar with Greg.

You could argue hatred/vitriol at Clintons has transferred to the Obama’s, then back to Hillary.

Roughly that same 25% has always been there on the right.

It’s just that the left has become incredibly energized with Trump now. So it’s seemingly even more polarized. I must have posted about politics five times in eight years under Obama or Bush.

Many turned against Bush after the war lies and Hurricane Katrina, but the feeling was more apathy/distrust/antipathy than the visceral hatred aligned against Trump now.

The average spread was 3-5 points...but a lot of that polling was done before the Mueller announcement about Weiner emails.

The Democrat outpaced President-elect Donald Trump by almost 2.9 million votes, with 65,844,954 (48.2%) to his 62,979,879 (46.1%), according to revised and certified final election results from all 50 states and the District of Columbia.

So the polling was off by just a couple of points, and arguably would have been dead on without Mueller’s late interference.

In the end, 87,000 votes in three states (Wisconsin wasn’t polled nearly as much) doesn’t represent anything but nearly everyone overlooking that state as in the Dem column. They already knew there were issues in PA, OH, MI, but reacted too late.

Overall, the national polling was fairly accurate.

Lol...keep grasping at s*** boys! Kudos with the back pedaling. No...polls had her winning BIGLY! Spin it any way you want...blame any mueller crap you want...they were massively wrong. Every single one of you misjudged people sitting back just waiting to vote. Blame it on whatever. Maybe blame democrats for trotting a lying old stale pos candidate out there people couldn’t stand. And too bad with the 2m morevote bs. Like I said...the country does not revolve around heavy metropolitan blue cities like Chicago...la and nyc. Get over it...
