Wow, Chuck has been just awful so far from the looks of it. Honel was solid again.

Field's AVG is slowly creeping up. He's up to .264 now and Molina at .222 is higher than what he hit for the Sox (IMG:style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

Heard first-hand reports from people at the game that de Los Santos velocity was at 96 late into the game. Might be one to watch for others not named Dan :-).

Damn, we might have something here. 96 MPH in the late innings, wow. Could we be on the verge of a homegrown stud? As I say this, likely he will blow out his arm and never be heard from again, but his rise in the organization is something to watch. And Dan, way to be on this kid early.

Good to see the emergence of a possible front line starter. If he continues pitching well through higher levels, then I'll be the first one to commend our international scouts for finding him.

Here's a nice little article summarizing the game. Not too shabby.

I'd love to take credit for 'calling' this guy, but all I did was see the numbers from his first outing this year and his DSL numbers. The interesting part about him is that in the DSL he had 61 Ks to 10 BBs in 48.1 IP. The control there is great, so it's almost surprising that his control is a problem this year. Then again, it was the DSL, it's not like those guys take a lot of walks.

At least we don't have to hear Flash ask "Where's our Liriano?" anymore now. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)
