We'll get the wheels moving pretty soon, but not finalize the list and publish until just after the 7/31 deadline. NorthSideSox72 Posted July 10, 2014 Share Posted July 10, 2014 We (FutureSox) follow the same guidelines as BA does on their lists: players are prospects until the attain MLB rookie status levels (a combination of games played, time on roster, AB/IP and the like). Semien, Johnson, Abreu of course, and a few others have "graduated" from our offseason list for this reason and are not prospects in that proper sense. To be honest, I was going to put May at #10 on my list earlier this year, despite struggling horribly at the time. The fact is the kid has a great set of tools, amongst the best in the system. As others have said, we actually have some quality depth for the first time in years to go along with the lottery tickets at the top. It speaks volumes to have kids like Michalczewski, May (who's just getting his feet underneath him and hasn't had a break in, what, two years?), Barnum, Ravelo, Cleuluis, Saladino, and Adolfo battling it out for spots at the end of the top 10 or even 10-20 range.
