Frank Deford - 78. He was a great writer and had some really good features on various sports programs on tv.

Love the National. It was only 18 months, but that was gold every day.

Not a celeb, but my dad unexpectedly passed yesterday. Huge fan of the Sox and was living out his dream retirement on a golf course in FL

If you need anybody to talk to, I went through this in April. Was retired a little over a year and also passed away unexpectedly. Nothing anyone says will make you feel better; you won't get over it but you can get through it.

Anthony Young, 51, MLB record holder for longest losing streak by a pitcher

Wow. I remember that and then the Cubs traded for him.
