Eaton didn't even run to 1b, before turning to go back to Ventura. Then all hell broke lose. At one point Samardjiza took after someone, and just missed getting smashed with a round house punch. Jose Abreu Posted April 24, 2015 Share Posted April 24, 2015 My theory- before the pitch, Eaton was taking a while to get ready and he had a talk with the umpire about the call. During this, Ventura tried to start his delivery three-four times to get Eaton to hurry up. Once Eaton was finally ready, Ventura used an unusually quick motion. witesoxfan Posted April 24, 2015 Share Posted April 24, 2015 My initial thoughts during the fight was "get the f*** out of there" and when Yost approached Sale, I figured that's what he was saying to him. Yost may be a manager trying to get into the head of the opposing team's pitcher, but he's still a fan of the game. Â Then I saw the Yordano Ventura thing, and then I had to start talking s*** to my Kansas City friend (which was in a group chat). He said Sale started it by throwing at Moustakas. I calmly explined that he threw a slider at him that he let go early, which did hit him in the face, but he never had that intention consdering it was TIED AND LATE. Â So, yeah, no, he still said it was the White Sox, because Sale is a simpleton who can't control his fastball (28th month qualified starters with a 2.02 BB/9 last year, though I remembered it being better, so maybe that wasn't this year? I don't care). So I asked him if he was high. Â He said he was not. Â He is an inteligent person. Â This is the general population of the Royals fans, folks.
