While they tank sure, but want nothing to do with that weirdo when they are trying to compete

I don't want that douche anywhere near our team, no matter what the plan is.

If we're going by the Cubs model, Bauer is the exact type of guy Theo and Co. would be targeting.

Elaborate on why he's a ******?

You can ask indians fans for the day to day stuff, but when people have a problem with Bauer it's largely around his twitter feed. He has a reputation for being a handful, and being oft-injured most tribe fans don't think he's worth it.

Sounds like a great change-of-scenery (again) candidate!

Yeah, I'm generally ok with a couple guy like that in the next year or two, as long as there are some positive influence guys (Abreu, Garcia) sticking around. Heck, Holland has seemed like a great guy to have around, so there's probably likely to be a few quality guys around.

I'm wondering the same...because he hit our scoreboard with his drone?

He posts right-wing stuff on Twitter. Watching the bien-pensant White Sox is more important than watching the competitive White Sox for some, apparently.

FWIW, nothing in Bauer's career suggests he'd contribute greatly to the competitive White Sox, so he can fight for conservative values from some other team's locker room.

Just an aside, I really dislike the Houston Astros right now.

They have a b****in' awesome team. They have the prospects to acquire just about anybody in baseball, they've been talked about in just about every major trade, yet they can't pull the trigger. Latest I hear that Sonny Gray is looking towards being the Yankees pick up while the Astros sit on the outside looking at it.

Now, Gray isn't the guy i'd want, and I can respect the Astros for keeping their prospects in tact and trying to go for a dynasty route, but man, that team is a few pieces away from being dominant. Think if they had Sale or Quintana right now. Dayumn.

I get the local paper and I think they are seriously convincing themselves that "this time" when their starters come back they'll stay healthy for the season and they'll be set.

So this morning I am dropping my kid off at his grandparents and listening to Sirius XM MLB Channel. I hear Mike Ferrin (sp?) say that the Twins were supposed to trade "Nick" Burdi to the Twins for Jaime Garcia but the Braves backed off once they saw his medicals.

I'm thinking WTF is he talking about? Burdi is on the White Sox and his name is f***ing Zack, and he sure as s*** isn't getting moved for Jaime Garcia.

I get home and google it and sure enough, his brother had TJ surgery and pitches for the Twins.

I had no freaking clue.
