Although, any discussion I've had with Cubs fans about what they think they're going to do this off-season, they say, "We're going to sign Cobb and trade for Archer" just because they hired the Rays' pitching coach lol the Cobb part I agree with. I imagine a deal for Archer starts with Happ and then one of Russel, Baez, Schwarber as Archer is very valuable to the Rays and they are not rebuilding. There were some thoughts that a couple of them (Hosmer, maybe Davis) could consider 1 year, $18 million deals, but it's not surprising.
