Were the runners going on that last pitch to Q? Otherwise, I don't see any way Nix would have made it home from 1st on that play. It only would have been a 5-4 game.

I just realized 2009 were my all time lows in game thread posts, games watched on TV, and just about every other measure. I underachieved as a fan as much as this team underachieved as players, coaches, and managers.

I think we may have swept Cleveland once. That may be it.
We didn't do much sustained winning all year. It really was a blah season. No momentum except I believe one decent run where we won eight of 10 or nine of 11 or something. We need to fix a lot of things for next year. Starting 0-0 in April won't magically make some problems of this lethargic team disappear. |
