You realize injury isn't the only thing that goes into consideration for a suspension?
No, Shaw's actions have zero to do with Weber. Not to mention Zetterberg is not a goalie. |

I don't blame him. Any goalie will do that. However, he still got a shoulder to the the head, it's not like it was only a flop or something. The onus is on Shaw there to avoid such contact with the head.

That game last night was amazing. I, sadly, see Shaw getting a game or two. I don't care, though, as he did what the Hawks needed to do!

See I don't think he will get anything more than a fine for three reasons: 1) no injury, 2) no clear intent and 3) no past history. Those are three of the critical factors that Shannahan uses when assessing whether someone deserves a suspension. With all three absent, I cannot think he gets suspended. |

Carkner jumped a guy who didn't wanna fight and kept pummeling him while he was on the ground and only got one game because there was no injury. It plays a huge part in the suspension. |

I was so happy/excited when the Hawks got that game-tying goal with just seconds to play ... again.
Man, maybe this is a team of destiny. 2-0 woulda been pretty s***ty deficit. Now you'd think Hawks will kick some butt at home and wrap up this first series pretty quickly. |
