Speaking of Vahn Lackey, he's probably just the second-best college catcher from the state of Georgia. This kid Daniel Jackson from Georgia is phenomenal. Just a sophomore, tho. Maybe next year.

Years ago, when I was in Denver, the Rockies had a horrible game on defense. Mostly overthrows, missing the cut off guy, throwing to the wrong base, etc. Of course they lost. When game was over, Manager Clint Hurdle kept the whole team on the field practicing those plays. 20-30 minutes later the post game show was over, and they were still out there. Pitchers, too.
