Peavy has good stuff tonight but the Tigers are blooping him to death. Not many hard hit balls off of him up to this point. Lets hope we get out of this only down 2 because Verlander doesn't have his good stuff tonight.

This one is on Ozzie. The whole board knew he should have someone READY in the 6th. Jake had nothing left in the 5th, but got through the inning, and they have 2,3,4 coming up.
And now we got Ohman loosening? LOL, it's like we don't see how important this game can be.
What a joke of a manager we have, 80% of this board would have had someone else starting in the 6th.

I don't know. I mean, I always feel like Jake's going to get an out when he karate chops his leg to generate more velocity. It's real natural. In the future, you'll see, all pitchers will do this.

Everyone in the world knows Peavy is not able to go really deep. My guess is that hes still messed up from the injury and that by next year he should be able to go much deeper. But for right now you let him go 5, tell him great job, and let your pen get 12 outs.
The sad thing is, even with the worst manager Ive ever witnessed, the Sox still have a chance to win the division.

If Humber were pitching, the result would be the exact same thing. He'd hit 85 pitches, tire, and give up 4 ins before Ozzie had the pen up.

Hes not "messed up", he just doesn't have the arm strength right now for 100 good pitches. He tires at 75. That's what happens when you pitch 1/2 of a season in 2 years.

Right so youre saying that because hes only played 1/2 a season in 2 years his body is messed up?
You said the exact same thing just didnt use the word messed up, because quite frankly Im not a Dr so I dont know if its his back, his arm, or what is really bothering him. I just know he cant seem to get really deep in games. And I guarantee forcing him to pitch more (like Ozzie did tonight) is only going to further wear him down.
