I don't know why people are thinking this is a big deal. Has no one been to the Haunted House at Disney World?

Nope.
RockRaines
That was such a good idea. I could watch them do a whole set like that.

It was really eerie the way he was interacting with Snoop. Blew my mind.

I don't think it's a big deal because I never got the Tupac fascination. Not a rap fan either though.

I actually don't like Tupac or hardly any of his music, but I did think it was pretty incredible looking.

What is the difference, presence wise, between a hollagram or an old video?

CNN did this for the last election and got made fun of.

They probably got made fun of because it was will.i.am.

And you know Tupac's dead. It was just an awesome touch to an already awesome performance.
CryptviLL
Kinda bogus IMO. Holograms like these can change the world, in the wrong ways!
Soxbadger
Ive seen that medley a few times, obviously its slightly different with a 3d holopac. Im sure if Id have been there I would have loved it.
farmteam
Now we just need the technology to have a Kate Upton hologram in my apartment....

Yeah, I think because it was a random person like Will.i.Am, and the fact that he is still alive. If they did a hologram of Kanye or Ludacris or something, it wouldn't be as cool/special.

Seriously. Once holograms become commercialized, I bet someone will start selling porno ones, or ones of models, and probably make a ton of money.
witesoxfan
Tupac really is still alive though
Reddy
it opens up a brand new form of entertainment.

we're gonna see "live" concerts from the Beatles, Elvis, Hendrix, etc and they're gonna SELL like nobody's business.

Explains it perfectly.

And anyone expecting him to look exactly the same as he did at 25 like that hologram is kidding themselves. Entrance was amazing though.. "The rose that grew from concrete".. chills.
Quinarvy
That performance was f***ing insane. The effect was done really, really well.

Apparently, they were gonna have Nate Dogg-ogram too, but passed on it. Would have loved an Eminem/Nate Dogg "Till I Collapse"

Also, hologram Tupac twitter is great.

I kind of thought they would because Em did rap Till I Collapse, and they shouted Nate Dogg's name out, but no hologram Dogg.

That would have been awesome. Easy-E would have been great too.

I saw this yesterday and thought it was amazing. I got chills seeing it, and when hologram Tupac and Snoop were performing, it was great. I think it's a great idea. I always thought Pac was still alive until a few years ago.

Watched it live. Literally blew my mind.

Literally? You were able to operate a computer with a blown mind?

Sorry, misuse of literally is a pet peeve of mine.
farmteam
David Cross gets peeved by it, too.
