    2005 World Series Memorabilia

I recently sent in an item for a private signing for Aaron Rowand, and it got me thinking, what are some of your favorite pieces of memorabilia that you have from the 2005 World Series team? Here is mine. Got this back in 2016 at a signing at Jewel. https://twitter.com/patrickhoward50/status/1361398309143855112?s=21

    OT: Vote for Frankie!

Admittedly, this is OT, but if everyone wouldn’t mind taking a second for my dog, it would be much appreciated. To make this White Sox related, with the earnings if she wins, I will buy a new White Sox jersey! Lol https://americasfavpet.com/2021/frankie-a5e1?fbclid=IwAR0-lrCSujP21G9TMMsNjeRfDGtfiniucik5ex6GTfWUdElQ6dXHEItCjxg

    What is Moncada's Value?

I’ve always thought that conversations like this are extremely interesting. Let’s say the White Sox did consider trading Moncada. Who would say yes and who would say no in this scenario? Braves get: Yoan Moncada White Sox get: Ian Anderson and Kyle Wright

    White Sox Online Charity Auction

Tons of great options on the website. Was anyone able to snag anything yesterday?

Pro Tony La Russa Hiring Poster Here

I know there is another thread for TLR, but it seems more like a Tony LaRussa bashing thread. I thought I would start a thread for those of us that would like to see the White Sox hire Tony LaRussa. I couldn't care less about his age, and I believe that he would be an incredible asset to the organization. This is a young team with an incredible amount of talent, and I think a Hall of Famer like LaRussa would be fantastic in that clubhouse.

    Who would you have hired?

Absolutely love the hire. TLR probably was my first choice, up their with Bochy. Hoping that the White Sox hire A.J. Pierzynski as Bench Coach to be groomed for when La Russa retires. A.J. has always been such a bright baseball mind. 3-4 years learning how to manage under La Russa could be really fantastic.

Pro Tony La Russa Hiring Poster Here

I just feel that such an incredible baseball mind is able to connect with pretty much any player, and he would be a lot more of a teacher. Small tweaks here and there that can take these guys to the next level.

    Crochet and Kelley

Just here to say that this might be the most excited I’ve been for a White Sox draft class since I started following the MLB Draft. We already have a ton of pitchers that I am excited about in the big leagues (Giolito, Cease, Lopez and Kopech), and then in the minor leagues we have Stiever, Thompson and Dalquist. Now we add Crochet and Kelley... 2 guys that could be Top 100 Prospects when the rankings get updated. Sure, we couldn’t add the depth because of the shortened draft, but we added arguably two top twelve draft prospects. A guy in Crochet that has arguably the best stuff, and a guy in Kelley that was arguably the best high school prospect this year. Kudos to the front office!

    T-Mobile Free MLB.TV

Today is supposed to be the day that T-Mobile users can download a free year of MLB.TV. Anyone else having trouble getting it downloaded? I can’t find it anywhere.
  10. What’re the 3 things you’re most looking forward to when White Sox baseball starts up again? Here are mine: 1. Luis Robert. Having a guy like this make his debut doesn’t happen often. He is arguably the most exciting and talented prospect the White Sox have ever had. I am pumped to see him run out to CF for the first time. 2. Cease and Lopez. I think these guys are poised for big years. 3. Taxi Squad guys. I think it will he really interesting to see some of the prospects that will make the Taxi Squad. A guy like Andrew Vaughn getting big league AB’s is awesome to me, and maybe we see guys like Crochet and Stiever get some innings.

    Taxi Squad Candidates

Do we know where the Taxi Squad guys will he located? Will they be playing in simulated games vs. each other or against another teams Taxi Squad?

    White Sox Memorabilia

Hey everyone. Long story short, I lost my job today and I am looking to sell of my White Sox memorabilia. I have game used items and a ton of autographs. If you're interested in anything, send me a PM and ill let you know specifically what I have!

What would you have rather seen from this draft?

I think this draft worked out amazing for the White Sox and I have absolutely no complaints. Realistically, the White Sox just added two guys that you could argue should've been Top 12 picks. I also like that they're on completely different timetables. Crochet should be a quick-to-the-majors kind of guy. I would imagine that the organization would like to have him on the big league roster in 2022. Kelley is only 18 and was arguably the best high school player in the draft. He will have a ton of time for development and will most likely be on the same trajectory as Thompson and Dalquist. That is an impressive trio on the rise together.

    2020 MLB Draft Thread

I don’t see anyway that Nick Gonzales slips to 11. Seems like 7 is about as low as he would be drafted. Hoping for Detmers tonight. If he isn’t available, Mick Abel or Tyler Soderstrom would be who I would want the Sox to pick.

    White Sox Tattoos

Just trying to drum up some conversation until baseball is back. Does anyone have any White Sox tattoos? I have two. A World Series one on my right bicep and an ‘83 logo on the side of my right calf. Anyone else?
  16. Haven been many White Sox rumors as the deadline approaches, so it got me thinking about some "what if" deals for some of the guys on the market. Who says and yes and who says no to this deal? White Sox get: Noah Syndergaard Mets get: Dane Dunning, Luis Alexander Basabe, Jonathan Stiever and Bernardo Flores
  17. Sorry if this has been discussed already, but what does everyone think a realistic deadline is for the season to start before they cancel the whole 2020 campaign? If it’s July 1st and baseball still hasn’t resumed, do you guys think they would consider just giving up on the year and focusing on 2021?
  18. KnightsOnMintSt

    Cuts

I really thought that Burdi, Flores and Basabe would all start in Charlotte.
  19. KnightsOnMintSt

    Andrew Vaughn

I am really looking forward to following him this season. For someone that was the 3rd overall pick, he seems like a guy that isn’t talked about as much as expected. I think he is going to have a monster year throughout the minors. Seems like he has a great balance of raw talent and tremendous work ethic.

Aaron Bummer extended 5 years/16M (plus two options)

Absolutely love this move. Fully expecting him to have a huge impact. Future All-Star.
  21. KnightsOnMintSt

    Michael Kopech

No news regarding Kopech, but I just wanted to say that I think this guy is going to be a stud in the big leagues. He seems to have some of the best work ethic on the team, and from what I can tell, the injury has brought new perspective when it comes to pitching. I personally hope they start him in Charlotte just to get him used to facing live batters again, but when he comes up, assuming he starts in AAA, I think he is going to make a tremendous impact on this ball club.
  22. What is the most memorable Sox game that everyone here as been to? I'm 27 so I dont have as many years at the ballpark, but I've been to well over 100 Sox games. I've never seen the Sox play in the playoffs, but there are two games that stick out for me. 1. Nicky Delmonico walk-off vs. the Angels. My friends and I had seats behind the Sox dugout and it was an incredible view for the home run. 2. I believe it was 2009. Sox-Rays. This was the A.J. Pierzynski "chicken-wing" game. From what I remember he stuck his elbow out and made contact with the Rays SS. The umps deemed this interference, and A.J. was ruled safe. I believe the Sox went on to win the game on a walk-off single.

OF Prospects - Who will Rebound in 2020?

Luis Gonzalez is a guy that I am looking forward to watching this year. I think he'll have a big 2020.

    White Sox Spring Training Thread

Luis Robert has reported to Glendale and is already hitting in the cage. *HEAVY. BREATHING.*
  25. Would the Sox be able to land him without giving up talent on the big league roster? Does a deal with Vaughn, Madrigal, and Stiever get it done?
