Dylan Cease, please throw strikes today. Please stop fucking walking the yard. Please start to live up to your ability level, and give we the fans something to smile about on this dark, dark day.

Once again, Dylan Cease, stop fucking walking the yard. Fucking throw fucking strikes today, and EVERYDAY you defend the colors of the White Sox.

That is all.

He's said Winkler about 10 times already and I'm on tilt.

Why isnt Vaughn in lf lol

I agree with this. I saw that he will be there tomorrow, but under the idea that there's no time like the present to start something that is clearly necessary.

This ump squeezing Cease early. also Rich King yelling at strike 2 like it's strike 3 drives me nuts

Probably because it makes no actual sense to play Vaughn in left. There’s already a spot for him at DH/1b

Have you read any of the posts in the Eloy thread? It's like 99% chance AV is your new leftfielder.

A lot of baseball media agree with @Vulture

They think playing Vaughn in LF is a recipe for disaster.

That doesn't mean they won't do it.

I'm pretty sure they're going to do it, but we'll see if it works.

Cease isn't missing horribly but he's still missing. Also hitters still teeing up on his fastball when it's a strike.

I would definitely buy "This is a smokescreen to keep us from looking desperate in trade discussions".

I can survive him being "Bad" out there. I'd really worry that a guy who isn't used to this and has never been coached on the position will pull a hamstring, or do an Avisail Garcia like dive for a ball.

Williams/Engel platoon is a better in house solution. At least you’ll get good defense

I'm not sure Cease will ever be a decent MLB starter. His fastball is too hittable. Even at 97-99 mph it still looks like a beach ball to hitters.

Really is amazing how his 98 mph fastball looks slow to the hitters
