Foster needs a third pitch badly.

It said change up on the broadcast. But the break did look like it was a slider/curve.

I need to quit being super reactionary with SSS and shit.

When will I ever learn?  I do this every year.

4 outs from Crochet (nice to finally bring him in without a runner on) and then another save from Hendriks

With 7th inning game, if scores stays same does Foster get W or scorer discretion?

100%

MLB has caught onto his fastball and his change up is usually straight

If that power change with movement is sustainable for Crochet, watch out especially as he continues to build up to the high 90s/100s

Jason, how does a change have a "bonus" on it when it would have been better at 90 mph?  I will see myself out.

If they have to do that to have him pitch reliever innings, his prospects of pitching 150-200 innings are not good.

Imo he needs to change his grip to get better speed separation. If he's going to be working at 96-97 as a starter 92-93 mph for the changeup isn't going to cut it. However, he does have a starter's arsenal.

Sale worked in the 95 range out of the pen as well, even though he was capable of hitting triple digits. It‘s by design

This is part of his development. They want him to work on getting outs at the MLB level at the velocity he will sit as a starter. I'm convinced he still has 102 and they're doing this on purpose.

Nice play by just getting to that by Bogaerts.
