Adopt-A-Prospect

Recommended Posts

QUOTE(danman31 @ May 12, 2006 -> 07:43 PM)
I updated the list of taken prospects and alphabetized the list so everyone can easily look for certain players and see if they are taken or not.

Hey dan, I have Brandon Allen FWIW.

I don't know how many of the lower draft picks have been taken yet, but I can take a couple of them. If any of these guys are already taken, I can take different guys or take some suggestions.

How about...

Brendon O'Donnell - 50th round pick - OF

Matthew Inouye - 21st round - C

Brian Omogrosso - 6th round - RHP

I'll take Jason Rice, however I'm wondering if they are your prospect just through this year or what.

Thanks.

Can Lemon just be Cheat's all-time prospect? They really are the perfect pair.

He's the high ceiling guy that everyone around here wants. But no, he's all Cheat's.

The only thing high-ceilinged about Lemon is his residences. Kid was tall.

Kid could throw a legit 104, could he not? There's not a guarantee it'd hit anywhere withing 15 feet of home plate, but man could he throw.

The following prospects are taken but the person who has the prospect hasn't done anything yet (I'm leaving these guys open if anyone wants to take them):

Ray Liotta: Rex Hudler

Ricardo Nanita: shagar69

Arnie Munoz: Butter Parque

Francisco Hernandez: Sonik22

Paul Moviel: daa84

Matt Long: Dam8610

Other prospects who have not been taken include:

Charles Haeger

Derek Rodriguez

Ryan Rodriguez

Jay Marshall

Alex Woodson

Carlos Vazquez

others...?

I'll go with Charles Haeger, if he is still available

Hey, I'd like to jump in there. I'll take the kid we got in the Cotts deal (Carlos Vazquez) and Ray Liotta if Hudler isn't doing anything there.

Both of these players intrigue me quite a bit.

So who is available nowadays? I'd like to pick up a prospect.

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

I still don't know how to determine who is taken. Does anyone know? Can someone tell me how to find a player?

What I did is read the first post by Danman where he lists the available prospects, then I read through the entire thread to see who had been taken. Then I looked to make sure there wasn't a thread and then I took a guy.

I updated the available list. It will be at worst a few weeks old, so read that first post and then the last several posts in the thread to see if a guy you wanted to take has been taken yet. Also, check the first post of the AAP thread. It has a complete list of prospects. That list only includes players that have actually had their pages created, your name will go on the list at the top of this thread until there is a page for the player.

Hm .. I'd like to take Francisco Hernandez or even newly aquired Po-Yu Lin if available. One or the other, not sure.
