The Tigers are nearing a deal with OF Nomar Mazara, per a source.

Mazara hit .268 with 19 HR in 2019 with the Rangers. Battled illness and hit only .228 with 1 HR last season with the White Sox.

Mazara has a lot of raw power but has never posted a wRC+ above 95.
