This has been a really good ballgame . the kind that I never thought to see this year.

It seems a bit odd to me that there are so many people surprised by what this team looks like . we all knew this would happen . someday they will be good again, just not today.

I partied for 3 days when Dollar Bill died . Blackhawks fans were finally free of him . after suffering through all of those years of Bill Wirtz, I never thought that I would hate anyone as much . I do.

It's nice to have baseball back.

At this point just having better defense is something positive for me, since that's my favorite part of the game . not sure that I care how many games that they win, as the entire season will seem like spring training for me.

White Sox Baseball 2024 - To have hope that a positive occurrence will happen, while simultaneously readying for the negative outcome . like the old saying, hope for the best, prepare for the worst.

Really looking forward to the Rangers - Orioles and Phillies - Braves . the Dbacks are fun to watch, but the Twins, Astros, and Dodgers give me hay fever.

I will be watching next year, knowing that they are not going to be much better than this year, but, now that i'm over the rebuild collapse, I won't be so upset, and it will just be another long season . i've been through some really bad seasons before, and next year, and probably years to come, will just be more of that.

I'll watch most, if not all games, but i'm only really interested in the Marlins.

I still had every game on, but didn't always pay attention . the only season that I can recall where missed a lot of games, was in 1983, because I was overseas the whole summer.-

Really looking forward to the D-backs - Brewers match up . great defense is my favorite part of the game, and both teams excel at playing defense.

Marlins pull out another one . Burger had a great game . this team is fun to watch.

Yea, I watch all of the Marlins games, and Burger has become a real fan favorite . makes no sense that the Sox got rid of their best power hitter.

Good to see if any of the pickups can pitch. Patino looked the best out of the recent player claims. Robert Moncada and others running hard.
If they acquire Sal Perez, then there is zero hope, unless Bobby Witt Jr. is part of the package. He looked like Babe Ruth on the Boston Braves.
I've liked that kid since the first time I saw him play . Really wished that he was wearing a Sox uniform, but then if he came up through the White Sox system, he would probably looked lost and confused, like all of our players do.

Not sure if it's my health issues, or the fact that this organization is dead in the water and sinking by the bow, but for the first time in my life I really have no interest in watching the White Sox . I have them on like always, but mostly ignore it, while i'm paying attention to the Marlins broadcast, which I have much more interest in now . wondering if this is going to be it for me as a Sox fan, or if the interest will return . it's very weird and depressing.

But they've got no reliable starters now that Cease stinks. And the bullpen has to be one of the worst in Sox history. They've got no bats besides Robert. And their defense is blah to bad. Beni is one of their best players. Yikes.
All they can do this offseason is see what they can get for Moncada and TA. Big deal. Those will be the big trades. Nobody on here has even produced a feasible "plan" for the offseason. Sox have maybe 3-4 guys other teams would take in a trade off the big league roster. Sox will have about 45 wins max at this stage of the 2024 season.
Yea, same here . i've had MLB Extra Innings or MLB.com baseball every year for around 20 years . I really don't see any point in going through the nightmare that is coming next year . i'll just watch whatever is on.

I was in high school that year and players like Luis Aparicio, Ed Herrmann, Wilbur Wood, Tommy John, Carlos May, Bill Melton, Walt Williams, and my favorite Ken Berry made it fun for me . the stadium was mostly empty and sometimes they would come over and talk . I loved those guys.
