I don't understand why today's game hasn't already been called so the teams can get an early jump out of town.
Are they going to wait until people show up at the park and pay for parking/food/beer first?

They pretty much have their own network now. What would be the advantage of severing ties with NBC/Comcast?

I don't see a problem. They need guys to eat innings. If not him, then it's probably a younger guy who's development might get stunted by being brought up too early.

Just looked up Shewmake's splits from AAA last year. .650 OPS vs LHP. Not terrible for a lefty middle infielder.

Just a 2 game sample size, but Yoan looks much better from the left side than the right. Something I'll be keeping my eye on as the season goes on.
