  1. I think it is that in the first half we found ways to win. The second half we have been finding too many ways to lose.
  2. The game won't be on TV on Saturday??? What, 6 channels for it to possibly be on isn't enough? How does that happen??? CSN CSN+ WGN WCIU WCIU affiliate channel 23 FOX
  3. QUOTE(Flash Tizzle @ Sep 14, 2005 -> 10:05 PM) I consider myself a rational, handsome individual, but this is becoming ridiculous. POST OF THE YEAR!!!
  4. It's all that goddamn Marsha Brady's fault!!!
  5. I seriously avoided going wireless with my guitars due to that movie. Then I finally did go wireless, and it was a HUGE pain in the butt. Now I am back to the straight connection. One of my buddies has been using somebody in his neighborhoods wireless connection for about a month now for his internet hook-up.
  6. Nigel is the guitarist in Spinal Tap. He had a small problem with his wireless system in the movie.
  7. QUOTE(Texsox @ Sep 14, 2005 -> 06:56 PM) Yep, that did kind of suck. But it's an exciting play. Not as exciting as Cats though. That Rum Tum Tugger friggin' ruled!!!
  8. QUOTE(Heads22 @ Sep 14, 2005 -> 06:46 PM) I just found out I could access wireless high speed on my floor. Signal's not great, but it's good. Do any of you regularly use wireless? Not after I saw all the problems Nigel Tufnel ran into with it.
  9. QUOTE(Heads22 @ Sep 14, 2005 -> 06:25 PM) Yup, we're all god-hating freedom-hating giant douches. Well then, I think you all know where you can stick yourselves then.
  10. Do any of us think saying the words are actually harmful to your children? I am not an overly religious person, but until my kids can decide for themselves, I would rather them being taught religion than having them believe that God and the following of a religion is wrong. I think you do more damage to your kid by suing the school system for mentioning God. No matter how you go, you are deciding how the children should think, and I can think of many worse things for them to learn than the words of religion. Like, I don't know...the arrogance of man?
  11. I think I hate athiests on a mission more than satanists on a mission. :headshake
  12. I shave about once a week, in all honesty. I hate it and would rather have to deal with the growth that I have to deal with. I use that MACH3 vibrating thing. It actually works. My son stole it for me. We went to the store, came home, I unpacked the groceries and there it was. I thought my wife had a coupon for it or something. So, I used it the next day and liked it. I told my wife thanks for picking it up. She said she thought I did. I said "no". We looked at the receipt and it was nowhere on there. I can only guess my son walked out with it and dropped it into one of the bags at some point.
  13. Send her a riddle, something like: Who do you bother all the time and thinks you f***ing suck? ME!!! obviously the swearing isn't needed...but it is always fun and pays the bills for many comedians.
  14. Do you think this stuff will ever start in the US? Not the suicide bombings, but the kidnappings and such. I suspect that if that happens, then the profiling will kick in full force and anybody of possible descent will suddenly become suspect and the refugee camps set-up during WWII for the Japanese would surface again, but for people of Middle Eastern descent, just to save all of them.
  15. QUOTE(longshot7 @ Sep 13, 2005 -> 03:27 PM) I would. Speeding is fun. Being one who has stood in the center lane of an interstate that had NO warning signs in the middle of the day, you get a " :finger " unless you mean to ammend you post with green text. You have no idea how enjoyable it is to have semi's and other forms of traffic flying by you at about 2' away. Do that once, just once, and you will understand the reason for those limits in construction zones. There I am, standind on the lines, I look over my shoulder to see a semi barreling down the road, all of a sudden from behind him a car shoots out to pass. I swear to God, I have never known fear until that very moment. I would say traffic was moving about 70 MPH. I just gripped that damn prism pole as tight as I could (like that would do anything for me) and closed my eyes. That car missed me, barely, as the driver went swerving out of the way. I took a deep breath, looked up, and it started all over again. This is why when the opportunity came for me to get out of the field for most of the time, I ran with it. I still go out there, but no where near as much as I used to.
  16. O.K., now I got him!!! He played Carson's henchman in Josie And The Pussycats!!! Now that is pretty funny since in that scene he does an impersonation of Bill Cosby as he tries to kill Rosario Dawson's character! And up above I asked if Bill Cosby would solve things as this idiot says all black people do! LOL! I also checked out some of his stuff. He's terrible.
  17. QUOTE(Controlled Chaos @ Sep 13, 2005 -> 12:04 PM) He was Cuba Gooding's brother on Jerry McGuire. ...man...this is NOT getting any easier...
  18. QUOTE(bmags @ Sep 13, 2005 -> 11:57 AM) he's from the streets of new york apparantly The streets where they talk tough. The hard streets, the streets that know no shame.
  19. QUOTE(3E8 @ Sep 13, 2005 -> 11:53 AM) He's a stand-up comic and a regular on madtv. You may have seen him in those Sierra Mist commercials. He's a Chicago native. Well, for Sierra Mist I know of the white guy who dances and smells his co-workers breath, and the white guy from That 70's Show. Oh, there is the black lady whose breath the white guy smells! Is that him? Oh...wait... Nope...drawing a blank. I had no idea such violent people were on Mad TV. Here I thought it was called that for the magazine, not for the 'tude.
  20. Wow...that's pretty wild. I'd like to hear the interview BEFORE that happened, and hear what made him go running back. According to him, I should never piss off a black person because they will ALL whoop my ass. Does that also apply to Bill Cosby also? And one more thing... Who is Aries Spears?

  22. QUOTE(Texsox @ Sep 13, 2005 -> 08:36 AM) We theadjacked a thread involving a Beatle member. I think we could be suspended. This has to be against the rules. If it were about Dave Matthews or Rob Thomas we would be considered heroes.
  23. QUOTE(Texsox @ Sep 13, 2005 -> 08:05 AM) And if you work at a normal job your a nut case, wacko Or if you have around 17,064 or more posts on a message board.
  24. QUOTE(Texsox @ Sep 12, 2005 -> 08:45 PM) I really dislike generalities, and stereotypes, but let me toss this out. The closer one comes to being a genius in science or the arts, the more likely the person has some serious flaws. So THAT explains all of my problems. Can I quote you???

QUOTE(JimH @ Sep 12, 2005 -> 05:45 PM) The swankiest hotel in SF is probably the Fairmount, right off the California St. cable car line, at the corner of California and Mason St. This place is amazing, you need to be a little dressed up to go to the top, where there's a lounge called the Fairmount Crown. It's worth it, you will get a gorgeous view of the city. If you are with a wife, girlfriend etc. she will be suitably impressed and tell her mom and all her friends what a great guy you are Is that the one with the glass elevator on the outside of the building. I've heard sex in that thing is great. Good Lord...I just realized that was in "invitation"...
