1. Yeah our conditioning is starting pretty late this year.  It starts Wednesday (Feb 11)....This is my senior year of HS, and probably my final year of playing organized baseball. :(

I'm going to miss it.  I've been playing since I was 4 years old.  (T-Ball!!! :headbang)......This is my 14th year of some kind of organized baseball.  I play the corners; I'm usually at 3rd.  It's a rariety, but I started learning the OF the last couple years.  I kind of like it out there.

    Ah BTW...good luck JReed... :cheers

I know what you mean Greasy. This is my junior year so I don't have much time left eigher. I haven't played the last two seasons cause I was injured and was on rehab. (osgoodsloderus (sp?) which is a fracture I had in both my knees [upper part] but affected my left knee the worst) It's still not the same, but I'm back :headbang :usa Haven't played baseball as long (started at 12) but I've been off and on (sucked one year good another than sucked one year you know(even though I won the world series my 8th grade year :)) There's alot of good players already on my team in high school. Hopefully I'll show them what this little guy is made of :D. Good luck to you too greasy, and to all the people who's trying out for baseball/softball this year! :bringit

  2. I know that Spring Training for the sox is comming up. I want to know if anyone is playing baseball this year besides me? Tryouts for my school start on tuesday, and I'm pumped, nervous, and excited!! Hopefully I'll land somewhere on my high school baseball team. I'm trying out for all the OF positions and all the infield. Hopefully I'll impress. I'm real excited about my little brother. This kid is going to be something I believe. He can pitch. :headbang One of the coaches said he's the most accurate pitchers he's seen in years. Doesn't throw hard, just a fastball, change pitcher (right now) The only thing is, he's not as motivated as me. Hopefully he'll do good this year. (only 10 yrs. old) Whoever is trying out, I'll wish you the best of luck. Wish me luck guys. I'm gonna need it. :)

  3. Great Rapper. He is an insperation in that video "Thru the wire". The guy's jaw was in the back of his mouth! Love twista. Wish I could rap that fast. Those two were good in that video Slow Jam. "Got a light skinned friend looks like Micheal Jackson, got a dark skinned friend who looks like Micheal Jackson." :)

  4. Hya Reedman! Very Generous on your part!!  So far, 2 people agreed with your list. Only one reason that I can't! You still have The Scrubbies TOO HIGH!! How low do they need to go???  My answer to that is..."Anybody out there got a Friggin' Shovel???

Thanks dude. It's nice to have great sox fans on this site. GHopefully they can go lower. The cubs are lower than dirt to me. ;)

  5. I'll go w/ the Simpsons on this list, because those early episodes are still genius.  I still laugh at the ones on syndication.  Of course the new ones are getting weak, but look how long this show's been on for.  What show does that anymore?

I ran into those old Beavis and Butthead cartoons on MTV2 on late Friday night too.  I could not stop laughing.  The one where they try to grow corn, Beavis at Burgerworld, Yard Sale, etc.... :lolhitting

You caught that one too.

Butthead- Let me speak to your manager Beavis so I can get you fired. Uhhuhuhuh.

    Beavis- Yea..right...manager..fired..heahehahea

Then that woman threw butthead out. Classic.. :)

  6. Ridiculous. I remember one year that Sosa came in 20 lbs heavier with all muscle. I combine that with his latest statement that this is the first year he has started working out before December and I know he was or is on roids. You can't gain 20 lbs of muscle in just 3 months without the help of steroids. It is just impossible.

Maybe he just like to eat alot of food like well done roasted goat sandwiches.

  7. Very true, but I don't think Maggs was paid 11 to 14 million last year. He did earn that money. That was the first year that he looked like Konerko as far as DPs. He still hit a respectable average, hrs, rbis, etc.. Yes this year 14 million is alittle high, but I don't think he cannot deserve it. I see him having a good season this year.

  8. This is true.  We've been the paper champs every year since then, and that's done absolutely nothing for us.  I can see us surprise some people this season.

Thank you greasy. I actually said something like that on another thread before I read this. Totally agree. :headbang

  9. I don't give a s*** what "predictions" are made on paper. We were suppose to be the best team last year on paper. Look what happened. I believe this is good for us just because of the douters out there. This is a good way to surprise the world. We have to take our game on the field and not worry about any silly predictions that are made.

  10. If you do want to go by that argument , then how do you explain both Thomas and Lee going over 100 RBI then? Lee was moved all over the lineup and still managed over 100 RBI. There is no excuse for Magglio not to have done it. Stop trying to make excuses for him. Chavez and Tejada both did it. Who was leading off on the top of the As lineup, Mark Ellis? This argument just doesn't hold water. I am by no means trying to say Maggs sucks.I am saying he better have a better year though or he can kiss his money good bye. I would not pay 14 million a year for the guy.

I do agree that I wouldn't pay 14 million for him, but I would pay at least 11 or 12 million to one of the most consistant hitters in baseball. He has hit .300 30 100 for the last 5 seasons. He was off only this year by 1 homerun (for 30) and 1 rbi (for 100.) If maggs would had hit solo homer in the last game last year, you would lose the whole point of your arguement. Maggilo also missed time due to that elbow. He plays hard everyday, and comes up with clutch hits to help us. I'm glad he is on the sox this year. Hopefully, he can finish his career here.

  11. I dont think Grady Little was "horrible" He helped bring that team to the ALCS against the f***ing yank$. I support his move of leaving pedro in. If he didn't leave him in and the bullpen f***ed up, he would still get blamed anyway cause of not letting pedro finish. If that result would had been different, I bet he would still be manager, and noone would even mention him as a bad manager.
