Gilmore 2-3 today. It's been a good 5 game stretch for him.
Beckham is struggling. Pop out, sac bunt, strike out. Down to .274. I still think he'll go off one of these weeks like he did the first week of the season, but it's been a tough go the last few weeks with the slump and injury. Hopefully he's not still feeling that abdominal injury.

Leesman gave up 6 hits and walked 5 in 5.2 innings. Must have pitched out of some jams giving up only one run.

Viciedo drew a walk on a 10-pitch AB. Noteworthy.

Jon Gilmore 9-15 his last four games. Up to .211. Good considering where he was.

Charlotte wins 2-0. Cassel with 5 shutout innings, Derek Rodriguez went 2, Russell and Link finished it off.

I really doubt Konerko would allow a trade to the Mets. Maybe if this was his walk year, but I just don't see that being a match.
