Mark Teahen as Teahan.
His play was more annoying though.

I’ll go with Matt Foster getting DFAd unless another move is made.

why did he sign with us? he must have had other offers.
Looks like he was hurt most of 23, and had a bad September return.
Maybe a Bannister recruit?

Tuesday announcement.
Looking like Beltre, Helton, and Mauer
…maybe Wagner
…maybe Sheffield, but probably not.

Every time I see this thread bumped, I think of Michael Scott finding out Toby is back.

The guy who settled two sexual assault cases? Might as well bring in Bauer then.
Ok, I’ve deleted him from my brain over the last four years. No then.

Chuck and Guff have a new podcast about Yasiel Puig for right field. Ozzie Sr is managing him. Ozzie Jr sounds like his agent.
A non roster invite? Sure, why not.
-
He’s getting traded in the next 10 weeks. We’ll have a right fielder, and Fedde is starting March 28.

I wish the fans could literally go on strike and demand a salary floor and cap in 2027 or the game dies.

A Huge Win for All of Baseball?
Yeah that’s an overstatement. I get it, he’s an incredible talent that deserves to be the highest paid player ever, but this is news today, and forgotten tomorrow.
I’m only happy now because the offseason moves can really get going.

This team is more than two years away from .500, IMHO.
Oh I don’t disagree it’s wishful thinking to be good in 2-3 years. Wouldn’t surprise me a bit if JR has seen his last over .500 team as chairman.

They have picked a lane. They are developing pitching and supporting those pitchers with defense. I believe they are going to lose like 110 games, but at least they have picked a lane.
Yes. The path they’re clearly on is- clean the stink out of the clubhouse, and prioritize defense. Then, when a prospect is truly ready, bring him in. It’s actually not a bad plan with what has happened. It’s too bad Grifol made it through to this point, but we can’t have everything we want with JR running things. Hopefully it’s a .500 or close team in 2025, and a true decent team in 2026, that can contend. We can hope.

The Getz impersonation should always include a long “aaand”.

Wouldn’t it be some s**t if the Sox were insistent on Jackson Holliday
They’re probably smarter than that…or should be. They know the Os aren’t moving him, and have other prospects that are attractive. Just need to know when to pull the trigger when it’s realistic.

There needs to more alcohol involved at the winter meetings.

It sucks because of being 5 or 6, but hopefully we take a very good player at 5, who is there every year.
Cool reaction from Antonetti. Must be nice.
