And we aren't even a month into the season.
Like how the hell is Benintendi making $15 mil a year with an OPS below .400? If that was me, I'd consider retiring from embarrassment.

Glancing at the batting averages and OPS of the Sox lineup might be the most depressing part of my day.

Getting blown out by the Heat without Butler should be a giant wake up call. But probably not to the Bulls FO.

Cutter.
Go look on Savant, his slowest fastball was 91.5. And he was throwing in the low 90s towards the end of the start.

I see Crochet laid another egg, guess we jumped the gun a bit
He wasn't throwing nearly as hard this start and got down to as low as 91. I hope it's just a bad start and not his arm already fatiguing from the workload.

So is Crochet already fatigued?

1) They really should have tried to see if they could have gotten past the Hawks without continuing to play him
2) God damnit Drummond. Shaqtin a'fool MVP
First the double dunk. Now this.

They will burst my bubble on Friday but I am at least very much enjoying this game.
Jimmy probably isn't playing Friday. Caruso also doubtful though. If they can't beat a Butler-less Heat team they aren't gonna compete with the Celtics anyways.

This was Coby's breakout out game to a national audience.

Thorpe isn’t just protypical strikeout guy, so we have no idea how his stuff with fare against major leaguers. If he’s not pinpoint, you have what Hendricks is this year.
How does a guy of his size only throw 90? You don't necessarily need velocity to be effective, but it definitely puts a huge limit on his ceiling.

The Royals are just feasting on the Sox. Half their wins are against us.

34 runs scored, in 15.6 games.
The Sox are last in baseball in homers. 2nd to last in slugging. Last in barrels. 2nd to last in hits, only the Twins have less hits, but they have almost twice the amount of homers. This team can't hit and they have no power. It's the ultimate snooze fest.

The embarrassment is only worth it if there are actual changes that come out of the team being terrible.

He just missed that. Nastrini definitely thought he gave up a grand slam when that left the bat.

He’s a platoon bat IMO
He doesn't even hit lefties anymore.

is this one of the 120 you just gotta flush?
That's every game with this team pretty much.

That run is on the ump and Maldonado.

Maldonado is so worried about throwing the guy out at 2nd that he give a s%*# how he catches the pitch.

He's improved, drastically? Eh, marginally imo.
I'm a huge bulls fan just don't discuss them here, prefer RealGM. It's been a horribly boring season with nothing at all to really look at other than Ayo and White playing a bit better. Pat was a bust again before getting hurt, Zach looked awful himself and so on.
Demar is nice but he's a FA and we'll have to overpay him for more "continuity" next year. Don't even get me started on Vuc.
I would say almost doubling your PPG while maintaining your efficiency is a drastic improvement. He's going to finish top 3 for MIP. There was a good 2 month period where you could argue he should win it, but he's really dropped off since Siakam sat on him.

150 games on the IL, definitely.

White's TS% and WS/48 are now lower than last year. The "breakout" was a 3 week hot stretch. I'm not saying he's not a decent player, but he's just that -- a decent player, nothing more or less. On a good team he'd be a 6th or 7th man.
He more or less maintained his efficiency while playing 13 more minutes a game. His usage went up 6%. He doubled the amount of shots he took. Teams started to game plan around defending him. He was also close to a 59% TS% before he got hurt. Coby's a streaky player, but there's no doubt he drastically improved this year while playing a much bigger role.

Honestly, it has been some of Donovan's best coaching since UofF to get this MASH unit to the playoffs. Coby's breakout has been awesome to see.
Ayo's actually been better than Coby since Siakam almost broke Coby on a chase down block. Plus I'm sure the minutes are catching up with him. He and DeRozan play more minutes than just about anyone in the NBA.

No matter how bad the Sox are this season, they won't top the Bulls.
The Sox are the equivalent of the Wizards or Pistons. What's funny is that those 2 teams have beaten the Bulls 3 times this year.
