Thompson struggled again and it really seems like the lower level pitching development isn't up to what we've seen in the majors this year. Hopefully that's something the Sox can improve upon over the off-season.

I also think he's just more valuable for this years team going multiple innings at a time rather than being able to go consecutive days 1 inning at a time.

Given how willing Tony has been to use his backup catchers as pinch hitters, I don't think that's it. Probably just trying to show confidence in Collins? But I don't like it either

Moncada is on pace for a 6 WAR season and he's spent the entire season getting nitpicked by large chunks of the fanbase. I don't understand it.
