I may finally take the plunge and start GoT but wouldn't mind a few other suggestions.

Here are a few suggestions for you all:

Catastrophe (30 minute episodes. Short seasons. Funny)

Westworld (Only 1 season to catch up on. High production value and great acting. Sci-Fi/Mystery)

Atlanta (20ish minute episodes. Only 1 season. Funny)

Mr. Robot is great...love that show.

Westworld

Mozart in the Jungle (still waiting for a new season)

Designated Survivor

Shameless (gave up on it awhile, then came back into the fold)

Scorpion

NCIS (original) and Los Angeles (can't get into the New Orleans one)

Homeland SHOULD be interesting (starting in January) because it's specifically about how a new president is planning for foreign policy/security issues over a 72 day period while waiting to be inaugurated, so pretty darned topical

The Blacklist

Quantico

BILLIONS

The Man in the High Castle (new season)

Agreed. One of my favorites.

Didn't the new season just come out a couple weeks ago?

The Americans. It's routinely on best of the year lists from critics. The first 3 seasons are on Amazon Prime. It doesn't get nearly enough buzz outside of critics though. More people should watch it.

Agreed. Excellent show.

The Americans - If you start this show, you will not be able to stop.

Sherlock(BBC) - Not a ton of episodes, so you won't feel overwhelmed.

Black Mirror

I stopped pretty easily on The Americans. :P

This new season of Black Mirror was great. Going through older ones now when I have time.

The last season of Black Mirror was the best. The earlier seasons are still good, just not quite as good as the last season.

San Junipero is making a bunch of "Best of" lists. Hard to disagree

I started Better Call Saul two nights ago. Definitely has that same binge watch feel that Breaking Bad had.

Also hoping I can convince the wife to watch Fargo. Figure we could get through that in five days easy.

Both of those shows are fantastic.

I can't wait for BCS to come back as well. It is just as well written as BB.

Atlanta is certainly worth watching. The trans-racial episode was probably my favorite - I couldn't stop laughing.

But also, as someone who has lived in Atlanta for 6 years, the show captures it pretty well. When they talk about getting JR Crickets wings ("swimmin") in the 2nd episode, I about lost my s***. I get Crickets every Sunday for football, and I always get them hot and lemony pepper swimmin'. Hard to understand unless you have lived here.

Excellent excellent show. Watched all episodes over two working day days.

Currently watching The Wire, but hard to binge because it's pretty heavy.

Watched the first season of the Americans and was not enamored by it. Do seasons two and on get better?
