Who cares if people are inconvenienced? We should go one at a time into all bathrooms even in stadiums. The liberal agenda wants to help out those people who identify as females but still have male body parts and want to go into the female bathroom. Fine. One at a time in all bathrooms. If it inconveniences anybody too bad. We have to cater to all people so the bathrooms must be reconstructed NOW.

RIGHT! Because as someone who really doesn't give a damn about who is in the bathroom when I am, I don't care if you are inconvenienced.

Post 9/11 and the Dems didn't yet have a clear way to go after GW Bush.

Clinton/Morris tacked so far to the center that the Republicans didn't have a counter, plus Dole got obliterated...and the Gingrich Revolution of 1994 overreached big time.

By 1998, Dick Morris was no longer involved with the Clinton administration, and the President had just faced a grand jury and was looking at an imminent impeachment. Historically speaking, the Democrats should have been shook in that midterm.

In 2002, George Bush's shine was well receding - and he was prepping for a war in Iraq that was very divisive. The Dems just ran s***ty campaigns.

It doesn't matter to the story that she does porn so to speak but I found it when it was reading up on her and it gives some insight on her character at the least.

She didn't quote the movie. Yes, she used terminology they used in the movie but I am not sure it matters either way. Would someone be excused for inciting and threatening violence on social media if they used an American History X quote to express their intentions? For some reason I don't think you'd defend that individual. Regardless, she posted what she was doing that day and how she felt. She was going to the rally, she wanted to take home mass amounts of scalp of people she disagreed with and she was nervous because she was cognizant of the violence that these left wing rallies tend to bring to the people there and the surrounding community.

As far as her saying she was going to get 100 nazi scalps, I am surprised there aren't more people calling her a murderer. Trump was called a rapist for saying he could grab girls by the p****.

Well then, you could say that about pretty much everyone currently in office, starting with POTUS. All of this tweets through the years, what he has said, what he has been sued for, what he has been accused of...sure gives me a lot more insight into his character.

Sorry for the tangent...but you can't play both sides of the coin.

The economy and stock market were flying high then. People vote their pocketbook. Federal budgets were actually being balanced on the backs of fair/er capital gains tax rates.

Surely she was literally bringing a tomahawk to scalp them, lol.

This is remiscent of the GOP Congressman who made similar threats towards Hillary and the Dems about protecting his Second Amendment gun rights.

But I guess the alt-right groups are filled with tons of fine and outstanding guys we'd all want our daughters to marry, like Richard Spencer, Milos and Pizza Gate dude.

Hmm. Not sure how you came to that conclusion. Unless you're still being sarcastic?

I take more s*** in the filibuster than anyone other than greg. Most who hold different opinions than the groupthink in this subforum don't hang around to get ganged up on but I have so your point doesn't line up with reality.

You deserve all the s*** you get. You are guilty of doing the exact same thing you b**** about time after time. Your groupthink is another one similar to Trumps fake news. Practice what you preach or quit preaching, or be a man and understand when you do the exact same thing you complain about, you are going to get called out.

It is stunning to me you are more concerned about character issues with a woman who was punched at a rally vs. character issues of POTUS.

When you come at me personally can you at least say what it is that I do wrong? I don't know what the "same thing" is. What do I preach? I don't know what Trump has to do with your point either. Are the sour grapes of his presidency that invasive to your stream of consciousness that you have to liken people you disagree with to him?

Your willingness to accept opinions other than your own speaks measures about your tolerance. (Am I doing the hacky sarcasm thing right? Enlighten me more please)

What you are doing is going off issues. When anyone wants to address Anything other than political issues with Trump, you have stated you don't care about that stuff, and apparently don't believe anyone else should be concerned about it either. Yet when it is someone that appears not republican, you are very interested in other things like the news this woman did porn.joe Bidens son dating his dead brothers wife. What are the issues with these vs. all of Trumps lies not being issues? Trumps claim that he could grab women by the p**** apparently didn't bother you, but shouldn't it? If he was telling the truth, he has committed sexual abuse. If he was lying, isn't it at least a little creepy a 60 something guy would say that to Billy Bush?

i have the feeling if this woman were a Trump supporter you probably wouldn't have mentioned porn.

I'm not concerned about anything. I responded to something topical. Not every political conversation has to spiral back to character court of the president who's inauguration has affected you so personally. I've long been on record speaking against him but the person in office doesn't control my life, I control my own life.

Yet it pisses you off people speak out against him.

LOL at the idea that Trump and associates haven't been involved in character assassination in regards to all the women who have accused him in the last 20-30 years.

Trump takes up so much air we don't even have any time to focus on Ailes or O'Reilly because the political situation is so charged (nationally and internationally) on a daily basis.

In the end, all of these issues succeed in distracting and getting nearly everyone to focus on the unimportant TMZ element of politics...when's the last time since the health care vote that we've had a substantive political decision about actual policies? It's very rare.

Neither of those suppositions were true prior to 1998. The GOP lost ground in 1986 despite a strong economy.

The Democrats lost seats in Congress in 1942, and 1966. The Republicans lost seats in 1990 as we were building a presence in Saudi Arabia to invade Kuwait.

QUOTE (raBBit @ Apr 17, 2017 -> 07:29 PM)
I said it didn't matter when Trump tweeted that two million illegals voted for Hillary. It's a non issue. The public gains nothing by talking about it and the media does a disservice when they spent weeks talking about it.

I don't get why stating what a liberal does for a living is a big deal. If I were one of the first responders in the United scandal thread and said the guy was a doctor would you be losing your mind over that too? People's occupation and personal history naturally comes up when their actions or the actions of someone else lands them in the middle of a news story. Furthermore, I said I respect her right to put her orifices in front of a camera to make some coin.

When I brought up Biden's kid's perversions I brought it up with the point that nobody said anything around here. You guys will post about Trump's grandson and his school or liberal company's messing with Ivanka Trump's business but when Biden's kid acts like a pervert and Tim Kaine's kid is a criminal the links never seem to make it here. I brought it up for the point of exposing the hypocrisy and balancing the one-sidedness around here. You just strip things of the necessary context to mischaracterize me.

I know Trump is a doofus. Am I surprised by his comments? No. Do I support his comments? No. I should say, sexual abuse is about consent. In the lines before the grab the p**** line Trump talked about how they'd give him consent. Imagine that, girls responding to a man sexually because he has money. I can't imagine that's ever happened before.

Guys say things about girls they don't mean all the time. They talk about girls like they're a part of a game to get the most. They talk about girls who they have the upper hand with in a particular relationship with disrespect. Girls do the same thing to guys with their friends. Most people don't do it the creepy, crude way Trump did it but it's not that crazy. It's not that shocking to me that a guy who gets laid at will said something disrespectful to another guy about a woman. I played sports and hung around on the south side growing up, that stuff happened all the time even if it is reprehensible. That doesn't mean it's okay or I endorse it, but it is what it is and people have been doing for a looooong time.

If you get outside of your comfort zone and meet some new people you'll find there are people who have opinions with a basis stemming from something other than projecting an air of moral superiority. Not everyone in this life is as proper and politically correct as your media intake preference. The real problem is the country couldn't find a candidate to beat Trump on account of this among everything else on his long list of issues. What he says to another guy, even if it is raunchy and gross, isn't that important in the grand scheme of things. Just like it wasn't a big deal when Bill Clinton used to get head from intern and his wife used to malign the character of his sexual assault accusers. I think it's a bigger transgression to attack possible sexual assault victims than it is to make a crude joke while being a braggadocios asshole with a friend behind closed doors. JFK used to tell girls to give head to his political friends hanging around the pool. I love JFK and I still have to say that using your power to get your political buddies head is worse than what Trump said. Those things didn't get the same play as Trump's comment from 2005 for some reason.

It doesn't. There was nothing in my post you quoted that insinuates I was pissed off. It pisses me off when people wear blinders and act hypocritically. I've been on record ripping GWB and Trump far more than I have ever supported either of their work. I am not without bias but I don't follow politics from a partisan lens like many in this subforum. The whole system is broken not just one side of it.

Again, you don't practice what you preach and in the other thread seemed to have always considered yourself special for apparently staying above it all. Remember you posted about the gotcha aspect the other day in the United deal. Well where did you stoop? A woman gets punched in the face, and you tell us she did porn. You got her. If that kind of thing bothers you so much, why do you do it?

What's the point of you following me around and harrassing me?

I don't expect every post on a forum to be a coherent, well thought out argument but if you're going to come at someone personally and make a bunch of claims because you disagree with them then at least back it up accordingly. Providing general context like occupation about an individual in the news is entirely normal.

You can continue to support a violent, community disturbing porn actress on account of her affiliation to a terroirst group that you Feel the need to defend. I'll support her right to employ herself in any way she seems fit. Just don't expect me to respond to anymore of your animosity-fueled posts.

That's true. Look at the guy who got taken off the plane last week.

Posting someone's career choice is not "gotcha" at all. It's posting their career. If you come back later trying to get me at least bring a cogent point.

Yes it was. She did porn, therefore, while punching anyone in the face is probably wrong, let alone a woman, hey she makes dirty movies, perhaps punching her isn't so heinous . Exactly the same as bringing up the guy on the airplane's past which you called a gotcha.

Nice try. You aren't above it all. You are what you supposedly hate.

His exact words were "Apparently she's a porn actress too. Unsettling.". I see nowhere in there where he claims this makes it OK to hit her. That appears to be a fabrication on your part or some personal vendetta. The fact that she was there for a fight and was trying to hit HIM made it OK to hit her. perhaps the 'unsettling' part was a comment on her looks...

Did you mention that he's a doctor? You're an awful person according to the people in this subforum then.

No, the whole point of you posting she has done porn (while now saying it is what she does) was to make her look bad. That's a gotcha. If she were a lawyer or a doctor, do you really think anyone here believes for a second you would have posted it?

To borrow a term you just used, your post letting us know that was an animosity filled post.

This is rich since you posted this and apparently think striking woman is no big deal:

Consider it a 'blow' for equality. She stepped into the playing field, abandoning the protections afforded by the traditional customs of interactions between gentlemen and ladies. She went looking for a fight, and got one. Just because she has a vagina doesn't give her a free pass. Doesn't matter who the hitter was.

Damn straight. Dick or p****, you go after someone looking for a fight, you get a fight. What if she had a weapon? Would he have been OK to hit her then? What if he was a gay black social worker instead of a white guy with bad politics? Antifa has a history of putting its female members up front and hiding behind them so that when they get hit in the ensuing clashes they can cry to the media about hot a woman got hit. Screw that, they are there for a fight. They got a fight.
